will this chip version supply the pressure reading so I can see it on my console? aka oem? my older ones would not, they only clear the light.

When this this sensor is programmed for your car it will do everything it's supposed to do. It sounds like there is a confusion in your question on what TPMS sensors do: they do not "clear the light". They "supply" the pressure to car's ECU.
