The review you are looking for!
I had been searching for about 3 weeks to buy a snow cone machine. I went through thousands of reviews looking for something that would work at home but would also be powerful enough to use for parties, birthdays, school events, ect... I finally narrowed my search down to just two different machines. The snowie and one other. The other machine was bigger and bulky but I knew would be powerful enough to do large groups. At the very last minute I noticed the snowie had went on sale and ended up getting it as well as saving over $100 plus got extra cups and syrups with it. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best because I knew I had a school event coming up and would need to make at least 115 snow cones all at once with this machine. On the day of the event I went in set everything up and got to work pumping out snow cones. By the time it was all said and done I had made snow cones for the whole school aside from two 3rd grade classes who had other things going on that day. A total of around 230 cones I made in less than 2 hours. I bought 6 20lb bags of ice and only used 3. This little powerhouse pumped them out so fast and used such little ice to do so. I had bought 6 Oz cups off of Amazon to give an idea of sizing. The following week I had another school event where I knew I would be making well over 300 snow cones but was confident by then I wouldn't have any issues. This time I bought 9oz clear cups so we could make sure the syrups were soaking the whole way through to the bottom. I bought 10/ 20lb bags of ice this time and made about 450 snow cones this time and still ended up with 3 and a half bags of ice left over. The cups were full to the top and rounded just like you get from a snow cone shop. Again this machine pumped the snow cones out like it was nothing. It's a serious little power house and absolutely great. Definitely one of the best purchases I ever made. The fact that I can pick it up and carry it by the handle with one hand is also amazing. I can use it at home with ease or take it somewhere and be confident I won't have any issues pumping out a couple hundred cones. I know that the manufacturer says it's not really meant to be used for large group events however on the bottom of the machine it does state it is for at home or commercial use. I can't say enough good things about my little snowie machine it's absolutely amazing and super powerful. I only had 2 issues both of which are easy enough to deal with. The first one was every now and again a chunk of ice would turn and get stuck however the machine has a safety feature that stops the motor and won't let it run again until the ice is adjusted. I had no fear of being hurt at all and just stuck my hand down in there to adjust the ice and then continued on...you could easily use a spoon or something of that nature also to adjust the ice if you wanted to also. The other issue if you want to call it that is, it's definitely loud. However you can't really expect anything that is taking whole chunks of ice and grinding them into snow the consistency of powder to be quite. So I don't really consider that an issue. So if you are the person like I was hunting for a review that states how many snow cones you could make for a large gathering or event then look no farther. My largest group so far was about 450 using 9oz cups I went through 6 and a half 20lb bags of ice. I bought the gallon jugs of snappy snow cone syrup off of Amazon also 1 of every flavor plus extra Blue Raspberry and extra of 3 other flavors that are popular in my area and never ran out of flavoring either. Those bottles of syrup served 680 people and I still have plenty left I could do it all over again. I don't know if I would suggest trying to push the machine to do more than about 600 to 800 all at once but I'm pretty certain it would do it with ease if it had to. THIS IS THE MACHINE YOU WANT buy it and you'll be in love just the same as I am and thankful you went with the Little Snowie!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Snow Cone Machine for Kids and Families!
We got this snow cone machine a couple of months ago, and it’s been a huge hit with our family! We’ve used it multiple times, and it continues to impress us with how quick and efficient it is. Each snow cone takes about 30 seconds to make using roughly a cup and a half of ice. We’ve tried it with both bagged ice from the grocery store and ice from our fridge, and it works great with both! The machine came with snow cone flavoring that tastes amazing—a perfect treat on a warm day. My kids (ages 5 to 11) love setting up their own little snow cone stand in front of our house, and it’s become a fun way to bring our neighbors together. Everyone loves it! One of the best features is how safe it is for kids to use on their own. It only runs when the lid is properly closed, and there’s no way for their fingers to get near the blades. It’s also super easy to clean—we just let it air dry, and it’s ready to go next time. If you’re looking for a fun and kid-friendly snow cone machine, this is definitely one I would recommend. It’s safe, easy to use, and brings a lot of joy to our home!

It's Amazing, but really loud.
I've been debating on picking up the Little Snowie for some time now, and finally decided to pull the trigger instead of buying a cheaper machine. Texture, not quite like snow, but very close. Maybe twice the thickness of snow, most other machines seem to be about 10x the thickness of snow. So while not quite as good as fresh snow, it's very close, and beats out any other machine that I've seen. This is probably every bit as good as the professional machines, but doesn't require the use of custom ice molds. Ease of Use: 5/5 Product Quality: 4/5 Cost: 4/5 Snow Quality: 4.5/5 Noise: 1/5 Overall I love the product and would highly recommend it if you're interested in doing snow cones or slushies. My favorite thing to do with it is grab a cup of ice, dump it in, grind the ice (red dixie cups work great, my other cups have smaller rims that don't quite fill up the space and result in ice spewing out a little). It's crazy fast and easy to use, within about 10 seconds it will grind my glass of ice into snow, then I pour my favorite Orange Juice brand into the snow, and I get a nice Orange Slushie (one of my favorite things). But it doesn't require any prep-work, just grind and go, I love it. Cleanup is a breeze, I basically just let it air dry. The snow quickly melts and drips off, then just let it dry it out on the counter, if you wanted to speed up the process simply wiping it down with a dry towel would do the trick. The only real downside to this machine is how loud it is. It is extremely loud, but only for a few seconds, then you're done. I don't find the noise to be a huge issue, but it would be nice if they could insulate the sound a little so it isn't quite so loud. That being said, I would highly recommend it, even at the seemingly expensive price. The ease of use and convenience make it worth the price for me. And while it is made primarily out of plastic, there is nothing that feels weak or like it would break anytime soon. I plan on getting regular use out of mine for a long time to come. If you're sitting on the fence, debating on getting this product or possible one of the less expensive products that sounds similar, then hopefully this review will help you decide on which way to go. I don't think you will regret picking up the little snowie, but you may regret picking up the cheaper competitor products once you see first hand how large the ice grinds are.

Exceeds expectations
I have had my Little Snowie for 18 months. It's not heen stored away once since I opened the box. I use it every day. If there's ice in my glass, it's shaved ice from this beloved machine. It has so many great features. Fantastic design. The lid that pops up, stays ajar, allows air circulation, brilliant so not to let things grow in a damp environment. It dries itself out nicely. It is fully dismantleable for thorough cleaning or blade replacement. I don't know when the shave blade will need replaced though. A year and a half of daily use, and it's still perfect shaved ice. Using regular ice cubes is awesome. If it required a special ice mold, there's no way I would use it daily. The produced snow is consistently just that, snow. It's like having a pro shaved ice stand in my kitchen. Worth the investment. This Little Snowie Max is so much awesome. It's powerful. The build is top notch quality. It is loud but fast. The loudness is normal for a machine that rattles around ice. I purchased a 12x12 silicone dish drying mat for Little Snowie to sit upon. As any ice shaver machine will do, it's going to have some drainge. The mat works great, so it does not sit in its own puddle. Little Snowie, you rock! I love you very much 💜

Great quality, very easy to use
We bought this on a Black Friday sale after I saw it used by a popular instagram influencer. This has been one of the best purchases! We have used it for family and with friends and it is super easy and makes the best shaved, fluffy snow cones. So far has worked with ice straight from out freezer and store bought. It is super loud, so be warned. We have a snow cone station outside where we use it and it works out well! Bought the Hawaiian shaved ice syrups and they are great.

Ultimate Snowball Machine
The perfect snowball machine, and this is coming from a Baltimore native iykyk! It’s strong and mighty. It creates the perfect snowy, fluffy consistency for snowballs in seconds- not the crunchy or crushed ice you get from other machines. It uses any kind of ice, so no need to pre-freeze ice molds. The kit came with great accessories and flavors to create a mini snowball stand in our kitchen. My favorite purchase in years!

Summer snowball fight!
The little snowie does an amazing job shaving ice, and it's fast! You can literally make perfect snowballs from it for a summer snowball fight, if that's your thing. You also don't have to freeze blocks of ice; you can throw cubes or any shape of ice in it. When my wife and I went on a vacation to Hawaii, we had the most amazing shave (not "shaved") ice at a little walk-up place, and I swear the machines they were using were just larger versions of this. I bought this thinking it would be fun when family came over, but also because I wanted to relive that happy little moment. There are a few downsides, mostly manageable: 1. It's really noisy. 2. If you try to shave *all* the ice, the last bits are coarser. 3. The lid doesn't close all the way for storage. 4. The plastic body scuffs easily. Even new out of the box, the glossy plastic had some scuffs. 5. Your wife might complain that you spent over a hundred bucks on something that you don't really need and just takes up space most of the time. Unfortunately, this machine was one of the myriad random subjects brought up in a completely unrelated argument with my postpartum wife, so I decided it would be less stressful to pay the $8 return shipping charge and move on.

update to 31 May 2019 review.
I recently ordered a Snowie 2 after careful consideration. I read several reviews indicating great company support of this shave ice unit, and was the primary consideration for my purchase. This is because I live overseas and returns via mail are expensive. Before I received the Snowie 2, Jared from Snowie LLC was inquiring about the machine and how I liked it. Proactive support by Snowie LLC. Upon receiving the Snowie 2, I inspected it and proceeded to try and make a shave ice. I could not as there was a technical difficulty with the motor. I left a message with Jared concerning the issue and he responded immediately and after explaining to him the problem. He immediately offered to send another machine at their expense. They were going to send a return label, but after understanding hardship of returning the unit back to the USA from Panama, they decided I would not have to return the defective machine. I cannot say enough on how great this technical support from Snowie LLC is. I’m very happy with their belief in the product, and the customer support. If you’re in the market for a light duty ice shaver from a great company specialized in producing commercial ice shavers. Then look no further. I certainly will not look anywhere else. I will post a further review on the actual performance of the Snowie 2, once I receive the replacement Snowie 2. After receiving the new machine and making a shave ice cone. I will give everything a 5 star review. Thanks Jared!!!👏👌!! The Snowie 2 produces a blizzard of finely shaved ice out of the chute. It made a cone as fast as any of our commercial machines. We have Echols microflake and Gold Medals finest Hawaiian ice Shaver. The ice quality was perfectly acceptable unless you wanted block shaved ice which can be fluffier, but takes longer. This little unit is perfect for the intended use, small parties. It’s fast, shaves ice cleanly and fast. The flavors were very good. My 5 star rating cover the machine quality, machine performance and especially the company support. Would I recommend buying one? Without a doubt!! Just remember it’s intended use and you have a machine that produces commercial quality shave ice at home. KUDOS to Snowie LLC!!!
