Excellent adaptor. It says a 2 way adaptor but it is more like a 4 way. The 2 side end can unscrew and you can add additional connections - though these will be always on (or control from your main tap). I have used these for the automated watering system. No leakes when using genuine Hoselock connectors, using 3rd party ones don’t always fit correctly and have tiny leaks (not the adaptors fault!) Fits well to standard taps and comes with adaptor for smaller tap too. Easy to fit and taps are easy to use. Material it is the standard Hozelock plastic material in yellow/grey so expect to fade over the years if outside and in the sun. Price is much cheaper than the local garden center - the price there was £21.99 so was about 30% cheaper.

I wanted a connector that would have the inlet on the end, which this does - in fact you can connect it either end just swap the connector and the blanking plate. In use nice 1/4 turn knobs make selection simple and visible. The hoze fittings can be removed to fit threaded connectors if desired - 3/4BSP I guess. The bracket separates from the business end which makes it easy and neat to mount - I would perhaps have liked the body to click more positively into the bracket - it has started to come out a few times. Despite being plastic, it appears pretty durable and since it unclips I can take it inside in the winter . Connection is easy with the standard hose connectors.

Using a hose reel on one and the other for watering cans. Works as intended and I would recommend. If it leaks it's your own tap thread or not tightened enough.

Well made piece of kit at a nice price for Hozelock. Taps turn smoothly and easily. Should last many years

Great works well so useful if you need 2 hosepipes or if you want to keep one for power washers etc so you don’t have to keep undoing the hose

I really like the quality of these, they feel like fairly strong plastic. I bought one a couple of years ago and it is still working, so I would say it's quite durable. The connectors have a rubber seal which help prevent leaks and I've not had an issue, especially when using PTFE tape before screwing them on. It also has another connector at each end so that in theory you could daisy-chain these together and allows you to swap between the supply coming in from the left or coming in from the right. I connect mine to some Sonoff SWV (Smart Water Valves) so that I can automate all of the watering of the plants and the grass. I would recommend bringing it in over winter though to increase its lifespan and especially so that water doesn't freeze in it. You can take it off easily because you fix the bracket with a hook on it to a wall (or in my case a small post) and then you just slot the 4-way connector into the hook. The individual taps allow you to either fully open or partially open the value for each tap, which can be quite useful for irrigation systems where you might not want the full pressure. I wouldn't say that it's particularly cheap, but I've bought cheaper ones before and you just end up buying more of them in the same time period.

So far so good - could be 5 stars if it lasts. The last Hozelock connector leaked badly after three years' use. This is a different design and certainly seems sturdier. No leaks at all, smooth operation.

Wie immer, die Rezessionen fressen einen auf, wenn sie negativ sind. Wir haben es dennoch versucht, und sind nicht enttäuscht. Bei unserem Hauswasserwerk mit durchschnittlich 2-2.5bar Druck hält es bis jetzt, was es verspricht. Der Kunststoff ist wertig, auch die Absperrhebel und deren innere Mechanik sind bis jetzt nicht zu bemängeln. Interessant die Möglichkeit, den Zulauf-Anschluß wahlweise auf beiden Seiten anzubringen. Würde ich wieder kaufen. Nachtrag nach 2 Jahren: Hält dicht wie am ersten Tag. Auch bei knapp über Null in 2 Wintern und mit Restwasser in den Hähnen, keine Probleme.

Good product, hard plastic. I have it for a couple of years, and store it in my garage during the winter (living in snowy Sweden). I don’t see any crack but the color shaded away after the first year. Exposed to sun only for 4 months.
