They make a nice tight fitting seal. I tried buying an OEM version from the pressure cooker manufacturer. I know they don't cost that much to make but they wanted an arm and a leg. These after market seals work just fine and I will be purchasing more of them. I do extensive canning year round with veg and fruits in summer and meats and beans in winter. I also pressure cook quick dinners when I'm in a hurry to feed the crowd. I go through a lot of silicone seals over time because I use multiple electric canners.Gotta love those electric smart canners! They make it so at my age I can cut down on time spent babysitting the pressure canner and take life just a little bit easier. If your Grandmother still cans buy her an electric pressure canner! She will love you into eternity! And you can tell her where she can get cost effective well fitting replacement silicone seals too when she needs them.

I bought these rings for backup I'm very pleased

I purchased the two pack. Since I do a lot of pressure canning in my Carey I more then wore out my previous gasket. Nesco does not make them =( . Asked the canning group I am in and someone with a Nesco told me about these. They are the perfect fit and fixed the problem of leaking around the gasket. A little pricey compared to other silicone gaskets for other units. However it is worth it when you are a canner.

These silicone gaskets may not be made by Nesco, but it is a perfect and identical replacement. (These are unavilable from Nesco.)

Size was 2 inches smaller than product description stated. These will not got the large nesco pressure cooker. Gave 3 stars because the product was good quality and i was impressed..wish it would have fit my large nesco product
