Wildflowers Bookmarks: 12 Designs (Dover Bookmarks)

Vintage
I remember buying these years and years ago. Haven't changed. You can trim with paper cutter but I like leaving them as is because it's a Dover signature to have those fuzzy edges!

Highly recommend for students.
I love these so much, I ordered a set for my best friend. We are both studying to become herbalists. With all the books we have, we use a ton of book marks. I love that they have growth patterns and history or other information on the back.I read all of these reviews talking about having to trim the serated edge and give them low stars, etc. This is indeed a booklet of 12 bookmarks. You have to separate them to use them. They are on a nice card stock type paper, fairly heavy. They are smooth, and feel nice in my hand. I think for about .17 per bookmark, there wouldn't be a lot of complaints....If you want a nice bookmark with the fringe, etc...this is not what you need. If you are a student, there are many different subject matters to choose from. The wildflower bookmarks are perfect for me!I think Dover has chosen an excellent way to offer 12 bookmarks for less than the cost of 1 heavy duty bookmark. You can laminate if preferred, they would still be cost effective. I love some of the other subjects in this brand of bookmarks and will be ordering more versions!

Love! Love! Love!
I have been collecting bookmarks since the beginning of time! Yes...I am pretty much as old as dirt.I have several other of these bookmark booklets and love them almost as much as life itself. Well... that might be an over the top statement...but that tells you how much I like them!

Lovely Little Bookmarks
Beautiful illustrations on these bookmarks. They seem pretty durable and just the right size for paperback novels. They do have rough edges when you pull them apart. I used sharp scissors to trim them, but a small paper cutter would work, too. But when finished are just lovely. I may just purchase more for friends. Would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to 'fix' them.

Handy bookmarks (and a nice little gift)
It's a neat little set of 12 bookmarks printed in full color on sturdy coated card stock and each one is 2"x6". The illustrations aren't quite what you could take out in the field for flower identification, but they really are well-done watercolors and very pretty. The bookmarks are joined together and have to be separated on a serrated edge. The back of each bookmark has a very good flower description as well as a paragraph about its uses or habitat. The flowers illustrated are red clover, evening primrose, bull thistle, trumpet creeper, spiderwort, wild rose, chicory, black-eyed susan, dandelion, bee balm, Indian paintbrush, and wild lupine. As always, the Dover bookmarks are really handy and they make a great little added gift if you give a book to someone.

Beautiful bookmarks!
These wildflower illustrations by Annika Bernhard are absolutely stunning, just the style that I like in flower art. On the back of each bookmark is a brief information note of that particular flower; height, bloom, and interesting facts. At $1.50 for a pack of twelve, with free shipping if you are a Prime member, you can't go wrong with these beautiful bookmarks. I read a lot of anthologies (short story collections) and usually have many going at the same time, thus I need a lot of bookmarks. I also give and send books to many friends, and including one of these pretty bookmarks is a nice thought, and I've been thanked many times for it. Check out the other varieties also, but put Wildflowers at the top of your list. I highly recommend this product. Enjoy!

So cute!
No problems. Yes, they are perforated and leave little "teeth," and are little more than laminated cardstock, but they're cute, durable, and if I lose one, there's a duplicate and the price was worth it. However, with this collection, the wildflowers look more like weeds, but I guess that's what they are? LOL

Great for a Christmas stocking!
Like most of the reviewers, I bought these bookmarks to qualify for free shipping. For $1.50 I got 12 pretty bookmarks. 12! That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Sure, they are perforated but a paper cutter or a ruler and scissors will fix that issue pretty quick. The bookmarks are printed on card stock and will hold up better than the usual receipt or sticky note that I typically use. I am going to put these in my mom's Christmas stocking because she's a gardening nut.

Absolutely beautiful
A beautiful little book of flower bookmarks, lovely illustration with names on, and fantastic information on the back of each bookmark about the plants height, where it grows etc. Not just fun and pretty to look at but informative too! Great for garden lovers like me, would make a very pretty gift. Fantastic quality lovely thick cardstock, highly recommend.
