Q: Once applied between fire boards, can you paint over this?

Hi As this is usually not seen its not something there is a 100% answer for! We think so but you might want to test a small area first.

Q: will this work on wood

Unfortunately we do not recommend that any of our products are used on a combustible material. The board adhesive will not act as a barrier and not insulate the wood. Please give us a call on 01179117895 if you would like to discuss this application.

Hello These are the listed coverage guides for a 310ml tube. 4mm bead x 18mtr 6mm bead x 8mtr 8mm bead x 5mtr 10mm Bead x 3mtr So you can see it depends on bead thickness used for coverage, so one board 2m x 1mtr would be about 6mtrs around. Stu

Q: does this stick fire resistant boards to metal (and plaster)

Oops... I haven't used it yet. However, from my research it's the correct heat resistant adhesive for the boards. I bought it to line my chimney breat with boards and will be sticking it to bricks & plaster. I'm sure it will work.
