Overview: This Ritek-manufactured (media code RITEK_BR2) disc is an excellent budget BD-R - not the fastest on the market but likely fast enough on a quality drive, and when so written reads well even on generic drives. This has become my go-to disc for my every-day BD-R burns. The bad: This disc is actually not a 10x disc - it is a 4x disc that -some- quality writers will burn overspeed at up to 10x, so if you have a budget or older drive, you may expect to see max burn speeds from 4x to 10x. The spindle they come on has a foam spacer, but it isn't big enough and doesn't exert enough pressure inside to keep the discs from sliding against each other during or after shipment. The good: This is NOT an LTH disc as some places claim. And while RITEK_BR2 discs receive mixed reviews on optical drive forums, the consensus is that quality has improved over time and this matches my experience now. My Pioneer BDR-X13 burns them at 10x, reaching that speed in CAV at about the 70% burn mark and then going CLV for the rest of the burn at 10x. On my X13 the full burn time is 11m5s and you won't beat that by more than a few seconds with a 12x disc. As such, its budget cost makes it more viable for high-speed burns. There are likely no faster discs on the market that are not also so expensive you'd want to risk making a coaster by burning at or faster than 10x. When burned at 10x on my Pioneer X13, it then reads back with no hiccups on my older slimline Pioneer UD04 and my generic Matsushita UJ272.

Best price I have seen for printable 25gb Blu-ray discs. The print quality is very good and also the burn quality is also very good. I have only burned a couple of discs of as yet, but first impressions are, they are very good quality.
