When I ordered from Amazon 22 March 2020 , the advised delivery was 19 April!! Even so, I went ahead and was delighted that the nut covers arrived in only 2 days. And free delivered under Prime. The 20 chromed plastic covers came with 2 extraction tools, also impressive. So I rushed out to put them on the 62 Plate MK4 Mondeo that I had bought a month earlier. Leaving aside the existing 4 locking nuts, I found that the 17mm nut covers were too small to fit my so called 17mm Open-ended "Lug" wheel nuts. In fairness to the supplier, SurePromise One Solution, I can now tell you that those open-ended nuts on "My" 2012 Mondeo are actually 17.4mm across the flats of the nut! [Incidentally I have to use a special tool to get those stupid nuts off, without damaging the 'hexagonals' of the nuts themselves. Nice one! ...the Ford Motor Company!!].This result is disappointing, but is not the Suppliers fault. Fords should not be fitting stupid nuts like this in the first place. At the cost of £8.95 delivered, it is not worth sending back the 20 Chromed-plastic covers. I find however that they fit my wife's Vauxhall Meriva whose nuts are exactly 17.0mm across the flats. So my wife has ended up with an unexpected set of nice looking nut covers, whereas I think I might need to try 18mm covers, but which will likely be too big!! Therefore if I do go ahead with 18mm, I might wrap a little sticky tape around the flats of the stupid 17.4mm Mondeo nuts, and see if that works? Or what I really should do is buy a proper set of expensive 'domed' stainless steel wheel nuts (which Ford had previously fitted as STANDARD to the alloy wheels of my previous 3 Mondeos).

Cheap and cheerful. Probably no worse than the original Peugeot chrome-painted plastic caps. Good fit for normal wheel bolts as these are hexagonal shaped inside. BUT... do not fit the locking wheel bolts as these are round - so I have given these a 3 star review for incompatibility. Just as another customer has done, I also used putty adhesive to round off the inside of the caps to grip the locking wheel bolts but these stick out a bit proud of the others - not sure if they will stay on - if not I'll be back to reduce this to a 2 star review. Had my wheels restored and recoloured with a graphite grey coating, and was looking for something to complement them. These were ideal. A firm fit means you have to line them up carefully and push hard to seat them well down on the bolts. This applies even to the locking wheel bolt, although that one does sit a little higher than the others. The firm ness of the fit means I'm sure they will stay on for ages. The handu pull tool also means they will come off fairly easily. Each one was individually paper wrapped, which speaks volumes for the quality control. I would heartily reccomend these to everybody, in fact I even got a set of the bl;ack ones for my wifes car.

You get what you pay for, these look good. Were very tight to fit but hopefully that will stop little thiefs from stealing them. Don't think they will servive removal though so have ordered another set just in case. Still works out a LOT cheaper than originals. Dod take a while to arrive

So for the money they look great! How long for time will tell! As others have said you cant replace a 'locking wheel nut' cover as they are larger! Still on the positive side you can easily identify the locked nut and you have 4 spare if the others get damaged or dull. On the whole happy with the purchase

Caps fit very snugly and look good. They've been fitted to the car for over a year and none have fallen off. However, the cap-removal tool is poor quality, necessitating the additional purchase of a pair of long-nosed pliers to remove the caps.
