Oral-BPro 1 Electric Toothbrush, Old

I have seen some negative reviews, so thought I would add mine which is positive. I have had mine for just over 7 years and, up to now, it has worked perfectly. I am about to replace it as It is only holding charge for 2 days use (rechargeable batteries don't last forever!!) and I am planning to buy the same one again.

The toothbrush works well and the head provided is good but the battery life doesnt last too long and takes a long time to charge but for the price it's a good product.

I decided to switch from a battery operated toothbrush to electric after my dentist confirmed honestly that there is "not really" any difference between the £100+ ones and the £20 ones. I decided on the Pro 600 after much deliberation and I'm so glad I did. My teeth are so much cleaner and it is excellent value for money.Some reviewers complain about the intermittent stopping, this is to let you know that 30 seconds have passed so it's time to move onto another section - actually really helpful.I thought I'd find charging really inconvenient, but I don't: The light flashes red when the battery is low and the charger base is small and neat. The charge lasts over a week. A £1 shaver adapter plug is necessary if you don't have a 2-prong shaver outlet in your bathroom (it is still a UK plug, just a bathroom safe one!) but these can be picked up anywhere.The only feature the 600 is 'missing' is the pressure sensor that tells you if you're pressing too hard, but trust me, you will know! The most difficult thing (which is not actually difficult at all) is changing your brushing style; you literally just hold the brush against each tooth and leave it do its thing.Had this nearly 3 months now and no signs that the brush head needs replacing. I think I'll try the cross action head next time - another nice feature that all Oral B heads fit all toothbrushes - as this was only available to Prime subscribers at the time I decided to purchase. I do like the sensi head though.Final thought: you use far less toothpaste too. Just remember to close your mouth.

I’ve always used oral b electric brushes but then last Xmas I got a very expensive Phillips sonicare but it broke after 6 months, replaced under warranty then the new one broke after 6 months. I then purchased a “third party” sonic toothbrush which was cheap (great) but it barely did anything (not great). I then went back to this oral b one which is, cheap, reliable and does an excellent job of cleaning teeth. ORAL B ARE THE BEST ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH

Had a few Oral-B tooth brushes over the years. This one is good, but I have noticed the battery lifespan appears to have reduced significantly, very quickly. Within a couple of months, it flashes red after 2 separate uses, unlike the 10 (I think) that was promoted. I just recharge after every use and it works fine.

I bought this for my wife as a gift. She is overwhelmed with the performance as her teeths are highly sensitive. She can see a clear change in the protection of gums and teeths. The only drawback is the battery life. I am using the Oral B vitality pro version and the battery seems to be really good. Even in this model the battery is good however comparatively mine is a bit longer hence the 4 star for battery performance. Overall a wonderful product. We should order a separate case for travelling. It would be better if they throw off a case for this price. 😉
