Great bit of kit.
What can I say......It's the same tube that comes with the Eheim filters and performs it's job perfectly. Only reason I bought a new one is because I cut my old one down to fit a prefilter but now need a longer one.

Green, why green?
I intended to use this on a larger tank, but never upgraded. I've since given away my aquarium, filter and accessories. However, the filter I had came with a similar intake tube and it was fine. I always wished it was clear though. I guess Eheim likes to tint tubes green to blend in with plants. I ended up having to put plants in front of it so it wouldn't stand out.
