This fabulously delicious, unrefined, unfiltered and pure unbleached ALTERNATIVE SUGAR contains no additives or preservatives. Freshly granulated from the sweet nectar of coconut blossom, the natural nectar crystals have far richer nutritional content than all other commercially available sugars or sweeteners. It is a low glycemic index food that makes it stand out as a natural and most sustainable alternative sugar, which tastes delicious too!

For its production, the nectar of organic coconut blossom is collected every four hours in order to ensure that it will be crystallised immediately to avoid fermentation. If coconut nectar is kept for several hours it will ferment and not crystallise. This differentiates it from some coconut sugars which are mixed with preservatives or additives. This includes calcium hydroxide or sodium-bi-sulphite. Or they are blended with cane sugar, palm tree sugar or malt based sweeteners. Those types of coconut sugars will have to be processed much longer and will have lower nutritional values and a darker brown colour caused by impurities that darken the colour of coconut sugar.
