Yolococa Ionic Filter Handheld Shower Head

My home water is a bigger let down than Batman Vs Superman and after leaving it i feel caked in calcium.When a family member bought this for the house. I had as much faith in it as I do in Scientology (I'd rather bite my own toe off).But now I honestly feel a difference. I don't know if it's a placebo effect or what, but the water now feels softer, mostly noticeable when I leave the shower. And I don't get as itchi as I used to when I'm drying (sensative skin when I leave the shower).Damn thing actually made things nicer and let's face it. Looking at the water go through the stones is cool and gives you the feeling like water is going through some epic spa s***.The flow of water is stronger than I thought it would be due to the stones and it feels nice when it hits you. I thought it was just going to half my water pressure and dribble on me like one of them bulldogs, but this is FAR from the case. Performs wonderfully.NEGATIVES.It does feel solid but don't know how long it's going to last (so far so good). I've already started noticing that one or two streams of water are starting to stray like a cartoon cross eyed dog but other than that I haven't found any other problem. Had it for a few months now.CONCLUSIONI was so surprised by this thing. Literally had no faith in it. And now I'm a believer.

This is a really neat design and will make a feature of your bathroom.It doesn't have to be used on a powered shower system, our shower is fed from the bath taps but for me there just isn't enough water pressure to get the best out of this product.I would suggest that before purchasing you make sure you have good water pressure.It does work for me but the water flow is so gentle I don't really feel like I am getting the best out of it.I'm going to keep it as we will eventually have a power shower fitted but for now I am going to have to revert back to my old shower head which, with my current shower set up works better and gives a higher powered water flow.My only real criticism is that it didn't come with any documentation with care instructions etc. These would have been handy as I am sure in time the beads will need to be removed and cleaned.

A great shower head. I heard mixed reviews but decided to go for it. We have medium to low water pressure. This thing turns that into a decent spray. Not exactly a power shower but it was at least 50% stronger. The fine jets are comfortable and quite fine. I have this attached to a shower that was performing quite badly. It's not adjustable so the spray is the same all the time but it sprays about 2 feet further (upside down) than it did with a standard shower head. Also it's quite a small unit. But it really does the job. Living in Cheshire we have a good PH balance but with added fluoride and some chlorine. I did notice it felt less chemically and softer. My skin and hair seemed less dry. I recommend this shower head. The only ting I would change is that the spray isn't adjustable and you will not receive any rubber washers, so keep your old one

I'm a sceptic of this sort of product - BUT would recommend this item.Bought this as we needed a new shower head anyway so thought we would give this a go, especially as we have very hard water and suffer from dry skin in winter. Has the skin improved? Well yes it has - but like most people with such conditions we also change other things in the whole effort to improve, such as drinking more water, changing shower gels, shampoos, detergent etc so how much of the improvement is down to this is hard to say. This isn't knocking the product, just looking at the whole situation realistically now, as we think benefits attributed to this would take a few weeks to come through anyway. And if you are prone to 'feel good' factors then it can't lose.The main thing to bear in mind is that this is a lovely shower head.It has one pattern that gives a good flow, is built really well and is fantastically priced. It works well with our electric shower (we were concerned it might restrict flow but it does not), doesn't leak from the joints and I am sure saves water too if that's your thing, certainly compared to our last shower head. Another bonus is that being translucent and not having a selector head we are sure it will not get mouldy. If you want clarity on that issue just take apart your old head and see what's in there if it's of any age. ;-)

I bought the cheapest version of this type of shower head just to try it out and I am very happy with the results. Some of the reviews here indicate the loss of pressure, however it does seem to have increased it in our case. Our whole family have been using it and my wife and daughter do think it has made their hair feel softer.......I haven't got much hair so can only dream. I can believe it does have water softening properties though because there does seem to be more lather produced from shower gels and shampoos. The only reason this head misses out on a 5 is that you cannot adjust the flow pattern on this inexpensive version and because the water jets are so fine (a good thing) the water is not as piping hot because of the air cooling it slightly quicker.

Great shower head, did definitely give a feel of greater water pressure - the spray would also go a lot further...accidentally angled to high and flooded the floor over the back / top end of the bath...standard shower head won't spray that far.My wife said it also made her hair feel a lot nicer. However, we had to change back to the original shower head, as this unit is just to heavy for the bracket / adjustable holder - soon as the shower head was lowered beyond a certain angle, the weight would cause the shower head to swing down and spray the wall..so would have to be raised so almost vertical...hence the flooding. Probably wouldn't be so bad if some of the filtering could be placed in a flexible hose before the screw thread / mounting part of the handle.
