This book is of a large format and is lavishly illustrated throughout with many large colour photographs and artwork. The coverage is fairly evenly spread amongst the characters, locations and spacecraft with a moderate amount of accompanying text. I would have prefered a bit more coverage of the Federation ships and space stations, but there are usually other publications specialising in this area. Overall a nicely presented book, and worth getting if you enjoyed the series.

This book is good but could have been GREAT. The layout and design is interesting, but the content seems to lack so much in the way of set design, costumes, and props from the run of the series. This slim table top book could have been double the size easy! Missed opportunity!
