This complete compilation of the 1775 poems written by Emily Dickinson is excellent. I wish all of the editions would indicate on the cover which edition they are. Be sure that you find the complete collection of all the poems with page layouts that indicate their date and progression. There are other editions of her poetry which are much smaller books...and misleading about the number of the collection.

This collection is a welcome addition to anyone who is interested in American poetry. Her work is beautiful and passionate about life and nature.

Emily is still my favorite poet, and as someone with a BA and MA in English I've read a whole bunches of them. ;-) This is a fine collection of all of her poems and a handy tome to have at the ready for those times when I feel a little bit of Emiily deprivation coming on. But in all seriousness, there are many, many versions of The Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson out there. This one is quite nice and the price is even nicer! So if your life stands loaded in the corner for a while and you need some Emily to bring you round, you could do with a little dive into the pages of this sweet little book. And yes, sorry for the mixed metaphors. I'll leave those in better hands! Here's to you, sweet Emily!
