The closed size is: W38xD31.5xH17 cm. Don't understand the numbers you quote! The size above is the closed size. The opened size you can simply work out from these dimensions!

Q: does it produce lots of smell and smoke while cooking when used indoors?

Yes it does smell and a little smoke, but you can’t get it otherwise. The end result is brilliant.
