Astracast Sierra 1.0 Bowl Reversible Teflite Kitchen Sink in White + Waste

I wanted a white sink and saw this on Amazon. It is a simple sink with one basin and a drainer. It was a great price at the lower end of sink prices but it looks great and is stylish.

It's easier to fit with a cut out length undersize, then use template to drill directly through counter top to locate studs through & use wing nuts. I cut a slot in the lid from mastic tube to do up wing nuts around the back & sides of the bowl. The sink is clean & tidy looking with lovely pop up plug. It's a little flexible at first but rigid when fitted properly. Water does not run off drainer & remember not to put pots on it straight off the cooker or pour hot oil down the sink. Otherwise a good value item but will need tlc for it to last.

Lovely looking sink delivered very quickly. However, be aware that if you are washing plates/ pots that have had any bright coloured food - ie/ curry you will have to scrub the sink immediately afterwards as it will stain. I've seen it mentioned in previous reviews that the staining only occurs in hard water areas but I'm in a soft water area and getting the same staining. I suppose it'll help my bingo wings though!!
