Thor/Thor: The Dark World Double Pack [DVD]

A great addition to anyone's superhero collection.This was brought as a present for a massive superhero film fan. He thought it was excellent. And being a bit partial to a good superheroes myself, I quite enjoyed it.The first movie is better than the second with the action being superior in my opinion. I liked the almost coming of age lead character and even loki. I was slightly irritated by the fast-paced romance story line, who falls in love like that!?! Even with a superhero/God...I needed more interaction for that to be believable! My dad said, who needs a love story line anyway. My argument was, all superhero need a maiden in distress. But, the action scenes, the flashes of comedy, the visual effects and rest of a good story line made up for it.The second movie had better interaction between the characters and great effects but I felt the action scenes were slightly let down after the first movie and I'm sorry to say, the ending felt rushed and almost messy. But who could resist Loki in his madness, I would have loved more of an in-depth story on him! I will definitely watched both again, hopefully after I have seen Avengers Assemble.

A handy boxed-set pairing of the first two Thor films on DVD.Like most of these Marvel superhero features, there's loads of big set-piece action scenes, humour, sharp dialogue and a fair attempt to capture the spirit and dynamism of the original comic-book/graphic novel characters.“Thor” spends some time setting up for the series but is a decent and satisfying movie as a whole; “The Dark World” perhaps isn't quite as well-realised, but Tom Hiddleston as Loki has a high old time playing the treacherous brother and quite steals the show.An entertaining double pack to be going on with while we wait for the release of Thor: Ragnarok later this year.

as with nearly all films the Dark World was not quite as good as the first and I was a little disappointed . This might be due to Kenneth Branagh not directing "The Dark World " and his talent for drama has been lost . Natalie Portman is the main star in the first film and she does not appear so much in the second . Extras are also a bit thin on the ground on both DVD'sBUT still enjoyed both films and would recommend buying them in this double set as the stories definately follow on

Wow never seen these films before, but exciting and wow Chris does look good, but the hair needs a brush through it. Tom hiddleton was brilliant as Loki and the bad one and funny as well.

Great price arrived in time

Great price for both Thor films, a must for all Marvel fans to complete their collection. Arrived promptly and in excellent condition.

brilliant box set, bought this having not seen either film and was not disappointed. a fab escape from reality and into the world of norse legend with action all the way!
