Good product
Product: Just For Men Moustache & Beard Real Black (M55) – Beard & Moustache Dye Kit I’ve used various beard dyes over the years, but this Just For Men M55 stands out for its ease, coverage, and natural finish. It’s a staple now in my grooming kit. ✅ Covers Grey Effectively This product does exactly what it promises—eliminates greys quickly and gives a much more uniform, youthful look. Even stubborn white hairs near my chin blended in seamlessly after one application. ✅ Natural, Not "Painted" The shade (Real Black – M55) is rich but not overly harsh, so it avoids that fake, dyed look. My beard looks thicker and fuller, but still natural—people notice the difference but can’t tell I’ve dyed it. ✅ Quick & Easy Application The included applicator brush makes it incredibly easy to control where the dye goes—no mess, no fuss. Takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish, including waiting time. ✅ Gentle on Skin I have fairly sensitive skin and was initially worried, but this formula caused no irritation, itching, or reaction. Just remember to follow the instructions and do a patch test. ✅ Lasts Well Between Uses The results last a solid week and a half to two weeks, depending on how often you wash your face or trim your beard. I only touch it up when the grey starts to peek through again.

Great Coverage for Beards — But Apply with Care
I’ve used this a few times and it does a great job covering greys in my beard. The M-45 Medium Brown shade looks natural and blends well with my hair. Application is quick — about 5 minutes — but be careful, it can stain your skin if you’re not precise. I use a bit of Vaseline around the beard line to avoid that. The included brush works, but I prefer using a soft toothbrush for better control. The colour lasts about a week or so before fading. Overall, very happy with the results — easy to use, affordable, and does what it says.

Great product, highly recommended
Very easy to use with the brush and doesn't make a mess. Colour matches what the box says.

I bought this because my chin was starting to look like a Dalmatian
"I bought this because my chin was starting to look like a Dalmatian, and my wife said the 'salt and pepper' look made me look less like George Clooney and more like a wizard who lost his staff. The box says 'Just For Men,' but it should really be called 'Just For People With The Precision Of A Neurosurgeon.' I applied the goop with that tiny little comb, which feels like trying to paint a masterpiece with a toothbrush. Five minutes later, I looked in the mirror and realized I didn't just dye my beard—I had dyed my soul. I followed the instructions to a T, but apparently, my skin is more absorbent than a Bounty paper towel. When I washed it off, my beard was indeed a lovely 'Medium Brown,' but so was the entire lower half of my face. I didn't look younger; I looked like I’d spent the afternoon bobbing for apples in a vat of wood stain. The good news: My gray hairs are gone. The bad news: I now have what I call the 'Lego Man Aesthetic.' My beard has no texture; it’s just a solid, structural brown block that looks like it was applied with a Sharpie. I tried to scrub the excess off my skin, but now I just have a medium-brown beard surrounded by a glowing, angry ring of red, irritated skin. I look like a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich gone wrong. Also, a warning: do not use your 'good' towels to dry your face. I now have a set of white towels that look like they were used to clean an oil spill. Verdict: 10/10 for coverage. 2/10 for my social life for the next four days until the skin-stain wears off. If you see a man in the grocery store wearing a turtleneck pulled up to his eyeballs in 80-degree weather, mind your business."

Covers the Greys, but Comes with Caveats (and Possibly a Rash)
I’d reached the point where my beard was beginning to resemble a patchy old jumper—more salt than pepper, with the odd suspicious glint of silver that caught the light in all the wrong places. So, with a mix of curiosity and vanity, I gave this beard dye a whirl. Application was wonderfully straightforward. No faffing about with endless mixing or waiting around like a painted statue—it goes on, waits a mere five minutes, and rinses out. Frankly, if all grooming tasks could be completed in less time than it takes to make a cup of tea, I’d be a much more polished man. The end result? Mostly impressive. The grey was subdued effectively, and the overall tone of the dye was pleasingly natural. It didn’t give that overly inky, painted-on look you often see on ageing rockstars or overly enthusiastic soap opera dads. On my eyebrows, it clung on valiantly for nearly ten days, which is a minor miracle given the amount of face-washing I subject them to. But—and it’s a fairly sizeable “but”—there are a few pitfalls. The colour result does seem to vary wildly. On one occasion, it gave me the rich, deep tone of a man in his prime. Another time, I looked like I’d coloured in my face with a permanent marker. There's clearly a fine line between youthful rejuvenation and villain-in-a-costume-drama. More troublingly, my skin wasn’t thrilled with the whole affair. I experienced mild irritation along my jawline and a bit of redness that lingered longer than the dye itself. A quick internet trawl confirmed I wasn’t alone—others have reported the same reaction, so it’s worth doing a patch test, even if you think you’re made of sterner stuff. Value-wise, it depends on your expectations. The product isn’t outrageously priced, but considering the limited number of applications per box and the risk of looking like a startled badger, some might feel it’s edging into the luxury bracket. So, while it’s a handy fix for the follicly fading and a decent option for those chasing a more youthful appearance, tread carefully—especially if your skin has a dramatic streak. Worth trying, with a side of caution and perhaps a soothing moisturiser on standby.

I found the colour to be good, but it took longer to dye my beard than they recommended and it washed out too quickly

Blijft 1 dag zitten, waardeloos.

I’m 45 and my beard ( goatee ) has been slowly graying for the past 10 years but my hair is still black. I decided to give this a shot and see what I thought about it. I followed the instructions and started with a 5 minute set time. The results were great. Mostly black but a little hint of gray here and there. The dye only lasts me 4-5 days because I keep my goatee really short. The next time I dyed it I went with 7 minutes set time and it was too dark for my taste. You could tell it was dyed versus a shorter set time look more natural. The next time I tried a 6 minute set time, and it was ok, not extremely dark, but dark enough to notice. I will stick with a 5 minute set time. I use the smallest amount of the color and activator, maybe a pea size. But that’s mainly because I keep a small and short goatee. It takes me a total of 10 minutes to dye my goatee and shampoo it clean. I will definitely continue to use this while my hair is black, once the top goes gray I just let it be.
