Premier Housewares Spinning Ashtray, 9 cm

This is sitting on my window ledge outside. So i can have a sneaky smoke out the window (perfect in this cold weather) Works exactly as expected stub it out. Push the button down. Spins round and throws the butt into the container. You do however need to make sure you clean it out quite regularly . As you cant see how many there are you forget how much is actually in there. By the by. awesome device and keeps the area looking tidier that it normally would. Also it means if you have not fully stubbed out your smoke. It seals it up so you don't have smoke pouring out

Looks good and works well, as the lid is sealed no smoke or smells escape.Great product and good quality.

Great Little Ashtray, but requires maintenance.Usage: 2 very light smokers: 10-12 slim line filtered rollups per day. Ashtray kept outdoors in British winter (heavy rain, wind and snow).This worked perfectly for the first 2 weeks. But then the spinner stopped working and would not pop back up. TOP TIP: To keep your ashtray in top condition, empty once a week and wash out the inside with warm soapy water. The inside has started to show signs of wear. To stop the spinner from jamming up, use a cotton bud with oil on (olive oil or any cooking oil will do) and wipe the metal top stem and then press down the black knob and oil the stem on the inside. This lubricates it enough to get it working again as good as new. I also wipe the top of the ashtray with a piece of kitchen roll with oil on to clean it as I do not wash the top so that I do not get the filter wet.If you are going to use it outdoors in the rain, your butts will get damp and wet, but I must admit this is the best ashtray I have ever had. You just have to look after it.

Love this because it also keeps the smell in. Really useful for kitchen parties if people keep smoking inside the house but also great for the outdoors because it can’t be knocked over and spilt as it has a screw on lid.

Like how easy to use it is. The downside I've ordered two on separate occasions and both arrived as gold and silver which was not what I selected

Broke on first try and won't close properly so can still smell the cigarette ash and the handle is bent.

To say that I like an ashtray seems strange but this is the third or fourth of these I have bought so it must be true.... I like the retro styling and the fact that the nasty ash and butts that I create a huge amount of can be vanished away with a quick click!
