Q: Can you put the whole gray cover in the wash after you take out the foam bottom?

I just use it less than 2 weeks. Since I put towel over the whole bed, I have not washed it as yet. Mine is medium size, my guess is yes. If I can't wash it, I will buy a new one which has 3 pieces. They are the foam bottom, U shape pillow and the cover. That means there is a zipper to open the pillow section allowing me to take out the pillow before wash. I bought my last one from Walmart. Hope this help.

Sort of, The bed is 3 parts. A removable outer fabric cover that has a sewn in foam booster on three sides. I would say machine washable but with caution due to machine becoming unbalanced during spin cycles. The “bed” part is an egg crate foam pad which has a it own removable cover that seems to be water resistant and could be washed.

Q: Does the neckroll remove for washing? I can't see how to get it out.
