EXCELLENT IQ TEST BOOK
If you are interested in giving your mind a workout, this is the book for you. It tests your knowledge of words, your ability to solve anagrams and your skill in recognising the relationships between numbers. You don't need to have a degree in maths and you don't use a calculator. Just hard focussed thinking. The tests are clear, easy to understand, simple, but pretty tough. You need to concentrate hard to answer all the questions in the time allowed. A really excellent book, and very good value for money at this price.

Excellent
This is a great book for anyone interested in finding out about their aptitudes in different areas, and for practising intelligence tests. There are lots of different sections ie varieties of tests and they are fun to do. Highly recommended

Comprehensive test book
Lots of various tests including personality tests, not only typical IQ and numerical/verbal reasoning. Great to entertain yourself and excercise your brain, or as a preparation for the recruitment process. Maybe I'm a bit of a geek but it's fun! :-D

500 exercises
The tests were in sections for different aspects of Intelligence e.g. in Numerical aptitude there were separate tests for Numerical Sequence Mental Arithmetic etc rather than a test of all round ability but was fun to do

A good series of tests.
I was a partner in writing this book along with Ken Russel, but this Kindle version does not mention me as an author.

Knowledgeable Author and care taken to make book, but does not provide an actual IQ score
The positives: The book is well made, the author is knowledgeable, and a good amount of care seems to have been taken to make the book. The negatives: it does not provide an actual IQ score, and this should have been clearer to the buyer. It is implied in the introduction if you use the look inside feature on the book's Amazon page and read the full intro, but it should have been explicitly stated in the webpage info what feedback it would give on the tests for anyone to clearly see who is about to spend their money on this. What it gives is the same kind of feedback that a teacher might give, which is telling you if your score is average, good, very good, or exceptional, and if I had known this, then as I am looking for a proper !Q score, I would have chosen another book or taken another route to getting an idea of my IQ score. I understand that the author doesn't wish to give an IQ score since the test at the time of writing it had not been standardized, but that should be clearer to the potential buyer.
