Would this product work with children who fly and have excruciating pain when the plane is landing?

I am looking to buy some ear protectors when I saw your question. I must tell you, I believe it VERY DANGEROUS to use anything liike that over ears when flying - it can cause the eardrum to rupture (burst/explode) which is unspeakably painful. Check with your GP or airline before doing this!

I have ruptured eardrums so high pitched sudden noises - brats in shops suddenly screaming/yelling + sirens + whistles - will this block them out?

Hi StratGirl43, I suffer with high pitched ringing in my ears known has tinnitus you may have heard of this condition ? I purchased the Baratec yellow ear defenders, too stop anymore more damage too my ears. Ear defenders will cut out sounds from machines and load noise i.e.in engineering or diy tools in the home too the makers speciations that is all. A high decibel noise from what you stated above,this model will dull the sound I found but will not block them out altogether. My advice is get a high decibel noise type of ear defenders if you want too block out those noises too a more low degree. I do not know of any ear defenders that block out noise completely . I'm not sure if they will fit over a hearing aid without putting pressure on it. I think you would be better off trying on different pairs in a shop to see which type are comfortable for you. Hope that helps.
