Staedtler 510 10, Pencil Sharpener (Manual Pencil Sharpener, Metallic, Metal)

Have been using Staedtler metal sharpeners for I am sure well over a decade. As a designer I use pencils all day every day and this little sharpener blows those awful plastic body sharpeners clean out of the water. I have a handful of these floating around the office and home. This just works effortlessly with no fuss or bother and none of the nonsense you get with plastic sharpeners such as breaking leads etc. For the price paid it really is an absolute bargain and a must for every home, office and child's pencil case. Life really is too short for dodgy pencil sharpeners.

Ha - what can you say? The best little pencil sharpener I have ever owned or used. Apart from those big winding sharpeners, this is definitely the nicest sharpener I have had. The plastic ones usually break the lead well before the pencil is sharp - but this one will let you really get a sharp point every time if you proceed carefully. Thoroughly recommend this. I have even started using pencils way more often as I can take this little baby wherever I go. (I think taking a winding sharpener would be over-kill out of the office - what yer' think?!)

Oh my goodness, what a difference this pencil sharpener makes! Just put a pencil in one end (the one with the hole), twist it round a few times, drop the debris onto the carpet, and like magic you have a rejuvenated pointy thing you can even write with. Qualifies I think for innovation of the year. So beautiful too, I have installed it as the centrepiece on my table.
