Iffy punch otherwise this easily makes a pillow box. For fragile items the concept's a bit flawed.
I must've got an iffy one as the punch was hard to work (I own several WRMK punch boards and punches to compare). Otherwise the concept's good, and with a properly working punch it makes pillow boxes quickly and easily. It's better than making them from scratch yourself. Particularly re the ends as I find doing the ends of ordinary cylindrical boxes is gluey-messy at times. But with pillow boxes you don't need to adhesive to do the ends unless you want and if you do want to then you can use unmessy adhesive tape. But pushing in the ends to complete the box is fiddly because you're trying to push in the long half of an oval, which for some reason is harder than if it was a circle, which can result in excess card creases; there's probably a knack but one I've never mastered. Also, it's not good for fragile items as the cylinder pushes in at the sides fairly easily because there's no support from the ends. WRMK aren't to blame for this aspect of construction science! Personally, for a box whose body is cylindrical and supported at the ends, I'd recommend this manufacturer's Candy Box Punch Board (cracker shape).

Christmas Sorted
Used it to make small gift bags as they can be very expensive. will definitely use more for birthdays as cheap gift bags are quite rare to find.

A great product but limited in terms of box sizes
This is a great product it, makes excellent quality boxes really easily and quickly and the fact you don't need adhesive is really convenient. I love that this board has a fold out arm for longer card sizes and for anyone who has the envelope punch board and struggles withthe fact you cannot score the full length of bigger envelopes on it, if you mark just the start of where the line is on it, then bring your card over and line it up with the little red bit on the box board you can score it right along when the arm is extended. I have removed a star because based on the envelope board I expected this board to be much more versatile in terms of the range of sizes and shapes you can make. This board makes max size 4x4x4 inch boxes which for me is really quite restrictive. The ease of use of the envelope board made me think I could use this to make boxes for cards with large embellishments on them and that is not the case. If the sizes this board makes suits your purposes though then this is a really excellent product.

Great fun
I have seen this on YouTube and wanted to give it go, it is great fun to use and does give a professional looking results. I am not sure how long the blades will remain sharp but so far so good. The only down size is the size and colour of the text, it is just too small and the colour makes it difficult to see. I think this would be really great for both children and crafters alike, I may even end up purchasing the larger punch board.

Lovely punch board but a bit frustrating to use
I recently purchased and loved the tab punch board so thought i would also purchase the frame board for framing little pictures or doodles in my bullet journal. It is easy enough to use but the frame wasn't cutting perfectly. There was always a snagging bit that needed trimming off or the frame looked uneven. Thankfully someone on You tube suggested pushing the blade on the guillotine forward and then cutting which gives a cleaner cut.I love these boards, they are super cute and don't take up much room.

Brilliant Product at a Great Price!
I first saw this product being demonstrated on a certain Craft TV channel where it was being sold with some "baker's twine" for £29.99, I liked what I saw just didn't like the price so when I found it on Amazon at less than half that price I bought it.I make jewellery & jewellery needs boxes. This is a great product and is easy to use to make an assortment of boxes for rings, pendants and bracelets. Bigger boxes are a great size for sweets and giving a great presentation for your cupcakes. A nicely made box can make a simple gift look luxurious. I like to use a thicker card stock for making the boxes. I like a pearlised or a matt foiled card run through an embossing folder as a lovely base to work with. I also take a strip of matching card and make it into a band to wrap around the box which not only looks good but also helps the box to stay closed. Some of the taller, narrower boxes seem to have most of the internal space taken up with folded card but this problem can be solved by either cutting the flaps so only one thickness is used or by placing the flaps on the outside of the box.

Love it.
A neat little punch board that produces professional looking gift bags. The largest size of paper to use to make the biggest bag is approximately 30cm square so it's not for enormous bags. I used paper that was approx. 25cm wide by approx. 20cm tall (the smallest size bag); the finished bag is approx 7cm wide by 5cm deep by 17cm tall and will easily hold something like chocolates or small cosmetic items or a bottle of perfume. I like that the additional function of the punch is to make neat holes in the top of the bag so ribbon can be threaded through for a tie.The instructions are good but it is a tricky design so I watched an easily accessed Youtube video and found that much more helpful. I much prefer to pop a present in a gift bag than struggle with wrapping paper and sellotape so I'm going to have fun experimenting with this and making my own bags. I'm going to see what happens if I use the recycled paper that Amazon loves to use as protection in boxes; if it works then the children can decorate the bags for me one rainy day!
