Car Anti-Glare Windshield Extender - Universal Sun Visor Goggles Day and Night Vision Anti-Dazzle

Good just broke after a month but did get refund and offer of replacement

I so looked forward to receiving these shields to help me cope with low winter sun and headlight glare. They arrived much earlier than the wait indicated. There were pictures to show how to fit but we were still unsure. The first attempt brought the shields well down the screen without obscuring vision, perfect for me, a short person but we couldn't get them secure. Our second attempt, putting them on the other way up is now secure having slid a non slip pad between the clip and car visor. I now drive with the sun visor permanently in position as it is so clear although I'd prefer it if it was lower as in our first attempt. The night time visor doesn't extend low enough to really help me unfortunately although I do swap them over if I drive after dark, it wouldn't be safe to do it while I was driving as it takes two hands and concentration. By and large it is an improvement on the car's visor but I miss being able to swivel the visor to the side window and moving it to cope with sudden light change whilst driving. I guess different vehicles have different size and shape visors so you can't expect perfection, I'm hoping it'll work in our motorhome when we swap it over, a boxer van is a bit bigger than a peugot 107!

Although useful this is a little bulky in my small car

The item is as described and seems to be working well. It is a little stiff to move when installed but a looser hinge would probably be counter-productive.

My night vision has deteriorated in recent years and therefore I avoid driving at night. However there are occasions when it is necessary and I usually drive where there is street lighting or quiet unlit roads. I have only used the night vision shield once but have to say it did make a difference and reduced the glare of the oncoming vehicles which has now given me more confidence to drive at night. As I am only 5'2" the normal visor does not always come low enough to shield my eyes from the sun but this visor does. So yes I would recommend this product.

A bit disappointing, not easy to use the antiglare visor on it’s own on our car unless you fit it the visor opposite way round to shown in add but then it is clumsy you use and fold away (I have removed the tinted visor and it does work better). If your car visor is less than 120mm wide it will not clamp (one of our cars is). But it is fairly cheap and there doesn’t seem to be much alternative. Long delivery time but it dose say in add.

Arrived Promptly with instructions for fitting, have used the yellow anti glare side which helps cut down very bright headlight glare to some degree. Be aware if you have a sports car, that with the coloured visor down there is very little room between the top of the steering wheel and the visor, also a sports car visor is narrower than standard and so the fit is not tight ( can slide it off) I suspect on a regular car it would be fine.

It seems well made and fitted the visor well - AFTER I received clearer instructions from the vendor.BUT - I am quite small and wanted to extend my existing visor to filter the low winter sun.This visor fits at the hinge of my car's visor, so is a replacement really - my car visor has to stay folded to roof for screen to work.It was well above my eye-level when fitted, so I have had to return it.
