Completely toddler proof. Just beware when filling it up and putting all the parts together, leave the straw for last because otherwise you'll get a mess of liquid flushing out.

I had high hopes for these cups as I have heard alot about them.Unfortunately they were not good for us at all the quality of the straws felt really good initially but after just two uses toddler crushed them with his teeth the straw were no use after 2 uses of the item! If you are using for a toddler that doesn't have sharp teeth then I'm sure they will be great option just not for toddlers that bite!

Nice cups but they are not as sturdy as I thought. Also they end a venting hole at the top as they become hard to suck from.

These cups are great and a good price considering you get 4 cups. The OCD in me was initially annoyed that I couldn't match up the colours of cup, lid and straw but this is actually helpful because now I know I can't match them so I don't bother trying. The really can be thrown and not come open. I wouldn't say they are leak proof because whatever is in the straw can come out if tipped upside down or thrown but the lid doesn't come off. I wash them in the dishwasher and they have lasted well so far. My boy has bitten the straws a bit but they still work fine for now. I haven't tried putting another straw in. The straw is difficult to push in the first time but after that it's easier and the tight fit means my boy is less likely to pull it out (he still pulls it up and down a little but never all the way out... So far). My boy is 19months.

I have bought the first set of these cups about 5 yers ago and it lasted until now, apart from some straws getting chewed at. This is the second set and it is as good as the first one. The lids fit well and they are not easy to remove for a child. Obviously the straws can be pulled out and if the cup falls some liquid can leak via the straw.The cup, lid and straw can be well cleaned in a dishwasher and there are no awkward spaces where leftover juice get trapped.If I could suggest some improvement, it would be to get a tiny hole in the lid to allow pressure to escape when lids are fitted because otherwise some liquid comes up the straw when the lid is fitted on (to prevent that I put the lids on without straws and inly push the straws in afterwards).

I'm using these for my 11 month old son. We tried the weighted straw cups but they were very hard for him to get a drink from and there are a lot of parts to wash! These are brilliant though.We taught him how to drink from the straw by gently squeezing the cup to bring the water to the top of the straw and he got the hang of it straight away.While they aren't leak proof, the cups don't spill when knocked over. The lids stay tight on, even when thrown. They're cheap and do the job perfectly!

I was looking for a cup for my 3 year old to use when he had his milk in bed in the morning. I didn't want a 'baby cup' (not least because I didn't want him to think he was a baby like his brother), but I wanted to try and avoid getting the quilt soaked in milk if he tipped it over.These are perfect. True, there's a hole where you put the straw in so they're not watertight, but they hold most of the liquid in while you pick them up. I was a bit worried when they arrived as they say 'take and toss' on them, but they're perfectly durable and are still fine after several months of use and going in the dishwasher.The only downside is that they come in a pack of 5 and I only wanted a couple. Still they do the same job as the fiver-each branded Disney etc cups with straws but are much better value.
