I have used them to serve water and soft drinks and they are sturdy. I think they could be used for hot beverages too but user will have to hold via glass lip only as it may get hot

Terrible quality if you want to use for coffee
The glass broke off the moment hot coffee was poured. Deplorable quality. Unfortunately the deadline for its return is over so I am saddled with these lousy cups
