Hated the look of the council provided bin in my kitchen, so when it broke it was a joyous occasion indeed!This is smaller, neater and easier to clean. Looks much better in my kitchen.

Ideal size for use on a kitchen work top. Very good quality product with a removable "bin". Can get loads of food waste, tea bags etc into this caddy and you can shut the lid. As the bin is removable from the body it means that it is very east to clean after emptying. Is much better than using discarded takeaway containers. I bought this after seeing it at my sisters house and I think its great. Would recommend

Comppact and robust enough for kitchen use, only flaw is when removing the plastic inner caddy it catches on the lid hinge and you have to pull from the lid outer edge and the caddy outer edge to get it out

I've had my old kitchen food bin for ages - it was nothing special but it did the job. Then, during the very hot weather we had in the summer I noticed fruit flies hovering around quite a bit and then, on opening it to empty on rubbish day, I was horrified to find the bin was full of tiny maggots!!!! I hadn't left it open and I've no ide how the flies were getting in but obviously the lid wasn't sealing and I wasn't having that happen again so out it went.My daughter has this bin in white so I knew what I was getting and she said she'd had no problems with fruit flies so I bought it in black (it was three quid cheaper than the white one!). I was pleased to note that the lid fits well and so far I've had no recurrent issues with the wriggly little horrors. I was pleased to note that the bin is smaller than my old one - which means that there is less chance of smells developing as it needs emptying more often. I'd recommend this because it does what it's supposed to do and looks good; it's easy to clean and it also has a separate container inside for the rubbish which I like a lot.

Excellent, used for all my veg scraps to feed our hensSecond one I have purchase as Husband dropped first one so needed a replacement. They are sturdy but not in my Husbands hands! No hesitation in replacement being same s very pleased with item.Particularly like being able to remove inner grey compartment to clean easily.Looks stylish on my worktop

The food waste caddy is smart and robust. I had a white version prior to this one which lasted many years but eventually cracked at the side of the hinge. As that one had lasted well I bought the same brand again but in black. My original white one had yellowed over time and the black one was cheaper. I actually am very pleased that I have the black version as it goes with some of my appliances better (which are chrome and black). What I really like is the fact that it has an inner lining and that the lids fits tightly to prevent flies ect being able to get in. If the new black one lasts as well as my original I will be a very happy person

This is a good size to keep by the sink for veg peelings, and very easy to clean as it’s so smooth. Lid can stay open which is useful. You need quite strong wrists to unclip the inner bucket - I was surprised how stiff it was. Can’t comment on durability as have only owned a few weeks.

Wir haben uns den Behälter gekauft, da wir einen gut zu reinigende Lösung wollten, die auch mit viel feuchtem Kompost (insbesondere Kaffeefilter) umgehen kann. Der Komposteimer hat genau diese Erwartung erfüllt. Er hat genau die richtige Größe, um darin auch mal größere Mengen an Obst- und Gemüseresten beim Kochen unterzubringen. Der Deckel schließt soweit man den Behälter nicht überfüllt recht dicht. Man riecht nichts. Nur die Fruchtfliegen gelangen leider weiterhin hinein. Dank des Griffs lässt sich der Behälter angenehm tragen und gut in die Biomülltonne/auf den Kompost entleeren. Manchmal bleiben Reste hängen, das lässt sich aber in der Regel mit etwas Schütteln oder etwas Anschieben gut entfernen. Meistens reinigen wir den Behälter von Hand, etwas Spülmittel, eventuell Essig und er ist im Handumdrehen wieder wie neu. bei Bedarf kann man die innere Schale auch aus dem Behälter leeren und in die Spülmaschine stecken. Das war für uns eins der Hauptkriterien für den Kauf. Leider lässt sie sich aber nur mit Geschick und etwas Mühe löse, sodass wir das kaum noch machen. Aber von Hand klappt es auch prima. Nach einigen Monaten im Einsatz stellt sie uns immer noch sehr zufrieden

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per evitare di mettere i residui di umido nelle vaschette che lasciano prode e e sono brutte da vedere se si h anche gente in casa.È stata una scoperta bellissima e una soluzione perfetta. È molto bella nel suo design, pratico da usare, facilissimo da pulire e sopratutto anche per il pratico “servizio” compost.. i resti di cibo che vengono buttati, una volta dentro, nei giorni si sciolgono quindi può contenere tantissimo umido! Con il manico e comodo da trasportare e la chiusura é ben fissata. Lo consiglio

* Richtige Größe für 1-2 Personen oder tägliches Entsorgen* der Innenbecher ist leicht arretiert und muss nur leicht gesichert werden, wenn man ihn nicht herausnehmen möchte* Lässt sich super gut reinigen, auch wegen abnehmbaren Deckel* Fruchtfliegenproblem entsteht nicht mehr, da ich den Becher häufiger entleere als sonst den Mülleimer und der Eimer gut genug dicht ist* weniger Plastikmüll durch weniger Mülltüten für den Restmülleimer, welcher seltener geleert werden muss, da nur noch Trockenes drin* Durch die Größe immer gleich da, wo der Müll anfälltInsgesamt froh, mich für diesen und keinen anderen Eimer entschieden zu haben.
