19101 Betta Bio Gold [Sng] 5g

Bought these as wanted to add some variety to my Betta’s diet. Brilliant value for good quality food! My betta loves these pellets. They’re a good small size too and a little can go a long way so be careful not to overfeed. Will be purchasing more when we run out but you get hundreds in the small packet!

Quality of this product I think is good (I am judging the purely on the fact that my Betta will always choose this over other foods in the tank). Pellets are very small so perfect for Bettas as they are easy to eat. Pellets also float so the Betta has chance to actually get some food before the middle tank feeders demolish it. The packet is very small though and won't last very long so I thought it was expensive for the amount received but fish keeping isn't exactly a cheap hobby anyway. I may try other sources to see if I can get the product cheaper. Update: have added a star because even though the packet is small, if you only have one Betta (or a small number), it actually lasts ages. Betta's don't need that many pellets due to their small stomach size so I found that whilst the packet did appear extremely small, if I'd had anymore it would probably have expired before i'd have chance to use it all. Haven't found any sources that are much cheaper so will continue to purchase from Amazon.

My Betta had fin rot when I bought him. I treated him for it and he's now free of fin rot but his fins weren't growing and he looked washed out. I've been feeding him these pellets for two weeks now and his colour is better than it has ever been and his fins are growing. He loves the food, and swims to the front of the tank when he sees me with the packet..

Fantastic. I have been looking for betta food for ages and not one pet store in my town had heard of it. Conventional food sinks too quickly including bloodworm leaving a hungry fish and dirty tank as you never get it all. This floats fantastically until every last piece is eaten and Dave loves it, no transition needed he took to it straight away. Plus great price too.

I've had a very fussy betta for 8 months now and he has refused to eat pretty much all foods offered to him including bloodworms, brine shrimp and flake food. For the first 7 months he was existing on 3 pellets a day from a different brand but this last month he decided he would no longer eat those either and was only accepting 1 pellet every couple of days. He was very skinny to begin with but rapidly lost even more weight and tbh I did not think he would pull through. Tried this brand of pellets as a last ditch attempt to try save him as I'd heard them mentioned on a few forums and thankfully it has worked and he is now eating 5 pellets per feeding happily and his colouring has returned. Happy fish & happy owner.
