John: 90 Days with the Beloved Disciple (Personal Reflections)

The Book of John is my absolute favorite and has been for many years. I was excited to come across this 90 Day Devotional and even more excited to see that it was from Beth Moore. I am 80 days in and find myself a little sad to be nearing the end. Beth gives the reader much to consider and these daily devotionals leave you thinking about what you've just read throughout the day. I love this one so much that I purchased two more as gifts. They were well received!The book itself is hard cover and a great size. One of the things I appreciate the most is that it has no problems laying flat during your study and there is plenty of room to answer the questions Beth offers up. Additionally, there is also plenty of room for you to add your own thoughts as well as add notes along the way. It also includes a (permanent) book mark so that you don't loose your place. A beautiful book indeed.Not only is John the disciple Jesus loved but, I, too, love him so very much. Funny... This devotional is all about LOVE and going deep.

A few years ago, I went through her 90 Day study about David and I was very pleased with it. God used this study to better my understanding of a man who's come to be one of my role models in my faith journey. Although I've done a few other Bible studies since, I'm now venturing back to a "Beth Moore journey" and studying the life of John and contextually, Jesus. I'm no where near through this book because I'm only a week or so in, but so far it is holding up to the expectations I previously had from the David book. She does a nice job of combining detail and concept, tying them both together then encouraging the reader to take the lesson learned outside of themselves and translate it into everyday life.

I loved this study on John. How he poured out the love of Christ. He fills with so much hope!

This was purchased as part of three; showing God's love from the Old Testament via her book on David; the book on Jesus as a center hinge-piece; and the book about John, as a person reacting to Jesus' life-changing influence. It was greatly appreciated for being guided and thought provoking. It was chosen for personal daily devotions; and the feedback and dialog produced through her added questions great for one's self and sharing with a partner or in a group format..They were well thought out and well pre-sented. My recipient is asking for another for the end of this year.

I just got it in the mail today and I am shocked at how thick and beautifully done the book is. It is an inch and a half thick and hard cover and I love the "ripped" edges look. This book looks too good to write my answers in and then set aside!! I normally don't keep my Bible study books but this is too beautiful to eventually toss out.It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who wants to know the life of John better and who likes Beth Moore. I'm sure I'll be back for her other Bible studies like this one. This book has beauty on the outside while it contains wonderful spiritual information for growth on the inside!! It's a keeper!

John (Personal Reflections) Beth Moore has a gift for making the Bible and those within its pages come to life. She has done it again in John (Personal Reflections). My daughter lives many miles from me, and this wonderful book has become a great means of connecting in a deeper way. We are each using the book in our quiet time and then, thanks to technology, we text each other with our reflections on the message for the day. There's a good reason the title is John (Personal Reflections). The questions Beth Moore asks give valuable insight into John, into our Lord, and into our own hearts. It's a beautiful thing. I highly recommend this book.

Beth Moore does an anointed job of taking us through the life of the beloved disciple John. Your sense of the true love Jesus has for us will be brought to new levels! I would encourage everyone to take this journey with this study.

A wonderful book that looks at the bible very closely and brings you closer to Jesus. i am reading it with some friends and we are all enjoying it.
