Firstly the size of this item came as a surprise. I know I could have looked at the dimensions but I was in a rush to find something suitable for an elderly lady's Xmas pressie. Turned out a lot larger than I expected. Very impressed. This has a good heft to it and once the items are used up the bathtub/caddy looks quite impressive on granny's 'beauty shelf'. Lovely gift, good-looking and reminiscent of olde-timey luxury

I thought this was absolutely fabulous. This 'Winter in Venice' Lavender gift set is beautifully presented in a plastic roll-top bath tub containing a lovely range of toiletries - all of which are lavender-scented. The entire set is wrapped in cellophane and wrapped around the outside with a wide, ditsy polka-dotted lavender ribbon as shown in the product images. The set arrives well, but extensively packed, in a cardboard box protected with polystyrene blocks, and is accompanied by a bonus gift in the form of a pair of little pots of hand cream from the 'Winter in Venice' range - I received Lavender and Kula Spa scents.This isn't just an impressive-looking gift. The toiletries themselves are great, with a lovely, strong lavender scent. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the items were held in place with really sticky, hard to remove glue dots. The bath tub display unit can be reused for dressing table storage - or perhaps as a dolls' house bath for sensible, older children.

Bought this as a gift for my mother and she absolutely loved it, especially the little bathtub that accompanied it. A few days after purchase, I noticed the little tub was looking emptier than before which suggests that the products are being used, and mom wasn't lying about liking it.I was surprised at the size of the bathtub as it was bigger than I expected. I might buy another one so that I can use the bathtub to store all the tidbits on my desk at work... I'll give mom the rest of the contents and tell her I bought a refill pack :)
