Having never used lifting straps previously, I have nothing to compare these to, so all I can say as that they feel like good quality, albeit time will tell. I used them for the first time yesterday and I'm so glad I made the purchase. My grip was my point of failure on rack pulls, especially when getting in to 3rd and 4th sets. Using these, not only was I able to get through without issue, I was able to increase the load quite a bit as well, which was a pleasant surprise. They are quite stiff, but I'm hoping that will disappear with use. All in all, I'm impressed. [Update July 2017] I've now been using these straps for a good couple of months especially on rack pulls and deadlifts and my lifts have gone from strength to strength. I personally only use them when I get to the point where my grip would fail as I still want that to improve as well. The straps themselves are freeing up a little, so not as stiff as they were when new which is good, but they still look like new with no signs of wear (albeit only a couple of months use on them yet). The rubber grips work well and give you that confidence that things aren't going to slip when pulling heavy. Not the cheapest straps around, but I'm glad I spent the extra few pounds on these. I have no problem recommending these, nor would I have an issue buying them again should the need arise.

Right out of the box I was impressed by the quality of these wraps. They came in a handy resealible plastic wallet which keeps the wraps both together and dry. The area around the wrist has thin but effective padding which is cleanly stitched in to the rest of the wrap which feels strong and durable. I have used these strapped for a few weeks now and continue to be impressed, the wrist padding is very comfortable and protects your skin from the slightly rougher material of the wrap. The part that actually goes round the bar feels good to hold on to and will not slip out of your hands. I have comfortably deadlifted 140kg (280lb) for 6 reps with these wraps which made sure my grip didn't fail first. I highly recomend this especially for the price and would defiantly buy again.

Very good product! Grip is very good which helps a lot when deadlifting. Could be made to fit your wrist a little better but other than that it’s good!

I got these straps as my old ones (different brand) got torn to shreds after 2.5 years of use. I have used these a few times now and they seem to be really nice, the yellow 'grip' actually works really well. The first time I used them they were a little stiff but they didn't take long to bed in and become comfortable. I use them just for deadlifting and I'm currently lifting in the 180kg region. They seem absolutely fine for this kind of weight and I could see them holding up to a lot more weight and abuse! All in all I'm really pleased that I got these over a cheaper basic pair, I think they're well worth the few extra £'s they cost.

I've used these straps for about a week - or a weeks worth of workouts, anyway - they're made from strong material and seem well constructed; the stitching appears very good and shows no sign of giving way. The pad on the reverse side of the strap is great and cushions the area around the wrist/back of the hand which is nice since it helps to prevent the strap chafing or kind of cutting in to your hand that can occur with an unpadded strap. These straps, like any other straps, will not take you from zero to hero - as with all such equipment, we're talking about adding small percentages, which together - hopefully - add up to larger percentages. But if you're struggling to move to higher weights or reps, or if your grip gradually lets you down as your workout progresses, then a set of lifting straps such as these in your gym bag are certainly a worthwhile addition.

I purchased these straps because I struggled with the length and quality of previous ones I have used. These straps are FANTASTIC! They come in a wee pouch that can be re-used to keep them safe. They are made from top quality material so they feel like they are going to last and they feel comfortable to use. As soon as they arrived I gave them a go and I'm very pleased-they are a perfect length and they have improved my lifting technique. They are great quality for a low price-a must for people who require additional material for lifting.

The reason I purchased these straps above others that I saw on Amazon was because of the padding for the wrists... IT just gives you that little extra lifting comfort. A strap that cuts off the circulation its not useful so this seems to prevent that. The stitching looks really good and strong. I also like the MAX GRIP area of the strap too stops them slipping on the bar. The price is incredible for the quality of the product, get a pair you cannot go wrong!!!
