I use the Kwikset Door handle for interior doors that need extra privacy and security, and it works great. Installation was quick, and the lock feels solid. It has a classic look and fits standard doors perfectly. Great value for the price—simple, secure, and reliable.

Very smart, got it a replacement for my back door, does what it says, the knob is a bit on the smaller side but it's steady

In my haste to install a replacement lock, I purchased the deadbolt in antique brass from the big box store. I didn't realize that I also needed a new door handle as that was locked as well (replacing it for new tenants). They DO sell the upper deadbolt and lower handle as a set at the big box but as I didn't realize their handle had a lock, too, I didn't bother with getting the set. After installing the deadbolt, I realized I needed the need for the door handle. Back to the big box stores - nope. Tons of non-locking handles but not antique brass with a smart-key. Off to Amazon. In stock and pretty cheap. Installation was straight forward - even comes with the smart key tool (so you don't need to purchase the separate re-keying tool set). Took all of about 15 minutes to install - biggest issue was just getting the holes to line up. Other than that, re-keying took 5 seconds. Happy tenants = happy landlord!

These quick set smart key sets do what they are intended and value for money is great. If you want they keyway to to point up on all installations it is more complicated to orient the lock mechanism than on some other brands. That said, with a little YouTube search the method is available online. It’s a little finkicky though. However it’s doable. Overall 5* but could be slightly easier to install.
