As this product arrived without instructions, I thought the following advice may help. This will be obvious to some readers, but I'm not particularly mechanically-minded myself, and I noticed that a reviewer of a different model complained that it emitted only a jet of water when they wanted a fine spray.I'd thought there would be a separate attachment for the mist spray option (but on re-reading the product description, I see it does just say "adjustable nozzle"). Also I thought there may be an integral switch so you could select mist or jet, similar to those fittings for kitchen taps, but I found it's all done by unscrewing or tightening the nozzle. Probably this is a standard mechanism across the different models.There are three settings:1) When the nozzle is fully tightened, this closes the aperture, so no water will be released if you pump the lever.2) Loosening the nozzle a little (only one turn!) will give a nice even mist spray.3) Loosening it further will give a jet stream.When full, the bulb holds about 400 ml, so the capacity is as described, even a little more.It is a bit fiddly to screw the top back on after filling the bulb - it's easier if you keep the top part still and turn the bulb, rather than vice versa. Even when you find the groove, it does not seem to screw up completely. However, when I tested it by turning upside down and shaking it a little, it didn't seem to leak.I'm going to fill it and put in the fridge for a while, then mist spray in front of the fans at work so that they're circulating cool air rather than hot. Don't know if this will help, but if all else fails at least it will be handy as a personal spray for using on the face or back of the wrists.Keep cool and carry on!

I bought this as my other bottle broke, very convenient for me to use as i spritz my hair throughout the day I think it will last a very long time it also has different functions if you like a mist or a shot of water I prefer mist though more and the colour is a pretty dark pink.

This is a good spray bottle, but i feel like something so simple and basic should be a little bit cheaper, it does the job yes, but nothing about it says £6 worthy to me. It’s nozzle pressure does seem to vary with how hard you press. So it’s a little inconsistent as they don't tell you that. It’s a fairly small bottle. Not tiny but it’s small around the size of my hand. But you get what you see. You Can get a cheaper one at your local hair shop. Mine just wasn’t open due to COVID

This is an excellent spray bottle. I've been using it daily for 3 months and have had no problems at all. Many spray bottles either project jets of water or too fine a mist to wet the hair properly. This strikes as perfect balance. It's a good size and comfortable to use. It also looks attractive. I've added fragrance oil to the water in the bottle and have experienced no issues with clogging or product build up in the tube or spray mechanism. Overall, this is an attractive, functional and robust spray bottle that is ideal for salon and home use.

Bought this to spray my daughters wild hair with water in the mornings to try and tame it! Ended up buying a second one as these are now used as water pistols in the garden aswell! Quite hard for kids to press and spray the water, although I suppose it’s not designed for kids in mind so that’s not a fault in the design as fine for adults to us!

I paid for a better bottle than the cheap ones and that's what I got. It holds about a fizzy soda tins worth of water and is roughly the size of two. This was important to me as I carry it in my handbag. I got it to keep the dog cool. By turning the nozzle there is varying mist/spray/near of water. This is brilliant. It was the mist that was important for me and this is a great one. I don't know how it would work for other jobs but it does exactly what I need it to.

I needed a better spray bottle than the cheap ones that I was using on my daughter's hair to spray water on to hydrate and revive her curls. This bottle has the option of a jet spray or a fine mist spray which is the only setting I use. The handle doesn't need a lot of pressure to squeeze and sprays a lovely fine mist of water. All my cheap spray bottles are going in the bin as this is worth paying the extra for. I am about to purchase another one in black this time.

Simple small spray bottle. I bought this for my grandaughter, she has very curly hair that is difficult to tame. Using this with a little tiny bit of conditioner mixed with the water was great. It made the curls more defined and less frizzy. It sprays well with a good fine spray. You can twist the nozzle to make a jet of water that may be useful in different circumstances. Good quality, works well.
