As a mother of a pre-teen, these magically disappear ALL THE TIME. Unfortunately, even though Apple updated their charging port on the model 15 series and beyond, that isnt the case with their iPads, so we still have to have the "old style" chargers to accommodate our iPads and the keyboards to them, as well as the Apple mice that go to our Mac computers.
