it works great. No miracle item but then again what is
I always wanted a steamer and always new the pros and cons. It certainly doesnt replace an iron, and specially this one where the water runs out very quickly and the compartment need refilling. But, it is very convenient for t-shirts and curtains, as a final stage after the iron. As for shirts, it doesnt really work for those stubborn shirts that are thick and have deep creases. But for all material that is light and cotton blends, it works great. No miracle item but then again what is. This is something to have if you want added value but not to replace the main concept of an iron. Also the negative is that you need to hang the clothing article vertically to accomplish the wrinkle removals which means you also need to wear some sort of glove on the other hand to hold up parts of the article at a time to pass through the vapor. without risk getting burned It is also convenient for quick jobs, when you dont want to take out the ironing board and heat up the iron. It starts immediately. Travel? Havent tried it get, but its not that light, but definately transportable.

Great.
Life saver for women's tops & dresses. Only downside is the small water tank needs continual filling up (once per we each dress). The small size is really handy though. Great if you try not to have too many clothes that need ironing. If you want to go big scale then maybe by one with a bigger tank.

Ideal for instant last minute ironing
Very good indeed ... I did hesitate to buy when I read the comments - but I'm very happy with my judgement to have decided that people confused(!) this with a proper iron! This is the iron (pardon me - steamer!) to use when you find out that your dress, bolero, etc for the day is creased and needs ironing ... not the one to iron a basket full of laundry.I also used it to iron the curtains effectively. Mind you that I washed them with low-power centrifuge and hang as soon as they are out of the machine... So actually they were already in a reasonably good state, but better when ironed with no creases at all.Strongly recommend, if you are against creased clothes while leaving home. Also works well when you have a fancy dress to iron as it doesn't leave ironing marks as a proper iron.

Really Good... almost 5*
Don't expect any steamer to do the same job as iron but this is the best one I have come across so far, for this price range (£50) Really works well.. Love itThe best way to use this steamer is by leaning your clothe against something (door) and with a towel behind the garment..The only disadvantage is the water tank.. it's only good for one or maybe two depending on the size of your clothe..

Excellent for steam blocking crochet
As this can be used both vertically and horizontally, this is great for steam blocking crochet. The only downside is that the water reservoir is very small, which means you have to keep refilling it every few minutes - however all in all, I'm really pleased with it!

Water runs out quickly
Works great but:- reservoir runs out after two shirts- it is big and heavy- short lead- can be used at an angle or straightI think if you want just to steam clothes (and not have the capacity to clean fabrics of the sofa etc) you're better off with the cheaper ones.

Five Stars
Best purchase ever! Very handy and works on tricky tops and creases. Yes the water capacity is limited and you can't do more than one, sometimes 2 tops at a time. But it's meant to be portable and it's not meant for long sessions of steaming. This is handy when you are on a time crunch. Occasionally squirts a bit of water before the steaming starts. Bottom line very pleased with it and is exactly what I was hoping it would do for fabrics that I could never iron the normal way.
