Ordered these for a winter ornament project, still haven't gotten to it. Expect they will be just fine.

These make good practice we got them for my father in law to accompany the wood burning kit.

They are the size I needed, but ended up being a waste as they split when you try to use anything on them- drill, heat gun, etc. Might be ok as coasters, but that isn’t what I needed them for.

2 arrived cracked but the rest are good to use. Nicely sanded and easy to paint on otherwise.

These are really lovely wood slices, consistent thickness and very similar sizes. I wanted them to add to a plain hedgehog feeding station to make it just a little bit more insect-friendly for our varied garden wildlife.I'm also glad to have a couple left over for a different craft project.I've left them untreated, as I want them to weather in and eventually rot a little. The bark is extremely soft, and the outer layer does break off easily, but for my purposes, that's perfect. I believe that issue will be tree-dependent, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. It could always be trwated with a matt wood varnish to give it extra hold if that's a problem with any others.The surface of the wood is nice and smooth, and lends itself to easy painting & burning without any prep needing to be done.My order arrived quickly and well-packaged, and if I need more in future, I will definitely buy these again.

Ordered for glass mount. I liked the idea of a rustic option to protect the table from any glass stain. I suggest you go with the bigger option (4 inches )they are perfect for that.However the rim (bark) seems to be fragile and will most likely peel off after a certain time.For the price I wouldn’t mind buy a package every few years. Good product

I ordered the wood slices for a craft project. They are the perfect size & came in great shape. I had ordered from Deseret Book Company the "If the Savior Stood Beside Me Picture Set" , which is on order. I will be taking these beautiful pictures and going to mod podge them onto the wood slices. I will then drill a little hole, attach some jute twine, add a ribbon and then hang on my Christmas tree. I saw this craft on Pinterest I think and loved the idea.Yes, some of the bark has come off the wood slices, but no big deal, I will mod podge or hot glue or use E6000 glue to re attach the bark back on. I'll figure it out. Yes I would recommend this product.

Flat, smooth bark intact. Good thickness to make coasters. Downside, the bark breaks easily so needs a thick protective coating, very dry so will crack if you want to drill into them. As well the size and shape may very. My first pack,3 of the 12 were odd ball shapes and my second pack 3 were smaller by .5 and inch. They are great for crafts, painting, wood burning/ coasters.
