Ever After High: Spring Unsprung/Thronecoming [DVD] [2015]

A great DVD that features two full length movies; Thronecoming and Spring Unsprung. Both films last for approximately 43-45 minutes each and so are a really decent length to keep your child amused and are rated Universal for viewing. Both of my children love this DVD and it has already been watched many times since I purchased it the other month.These are however the same two films that have been available on the web and netflix and so I think this is worth knowing before you purchase as these are not brand new films. Personally I prefer having the films on disc rather than having to stream them and this has made viewing a little bit easier for my two children. The disc also has the chronological order of the films the wrong way around and so if your child is new to Ever After High then I would recommend them watching the Thronecoming film first which explains how the Royal and Rebel sides came about and then watching the Spring Unsprung film after. Of course the films can be watched in any order but I thought I would mention just in case.The Thronecoming film shows how Raven Queen doesn't want to follow in her mother's footsteps and so chooses not to sign the Storybook of Legends and how the headmaster switches Raven's mother's real gift to her with a coin and fakes the vision to show that bad things will happen if she doesn't sign. Raven then decides to sign the book as she doesn't want her friend hurt but it is soon revealed that the book they are about to sign is fake. Can Raven and her friends find the real book and will Raven sign it?....The Spring Unsprung film is about the Spring Fairest festival which is interrupted by the appearance of a few characters from Wonderland who are supposed to be cut off from Ever After after the two worlds were sealed from each other. There is also trouble in the air when Kitty Cheshire and her mother the Cheshire Cat's play a few pranks which unfortunately take a turn for the worse and lead to the students acting their complete opposites and threatening the future of Ever After. Can Ever After be saved and who is the mysterious White Knight?....The DVD also has a few extras and features three short webisode's which run about 7minutes each:Apple's Tale The Story of a RoyalThe Tale of Legacy DayRaven's Tale The Story of a RebelThe DVD's final extra feature is a little on screen quiz that your child can complete which ask's them to choose from four multiple choice answers to "Which Thronecoming Look Is Just Right For You?". The four answers each correspond with a certain Ever After High character and I won't ruin who all of those characters are but one of them is Apple White.A really good DVD that's great for Ever After High fans who either haven't seen the web films or who want a DVD copy and my children have watched this many times now. I prefer a DVD copy to streaming all the time and so I hope they eventually bring out DVD copies containing all of the webisodes for both Ever After High and Monster High.

My daughter loves Ever After High dolls + was so happy to finally have a DVD she could watch instead of trying to view them on You Tube. The stories have brought the dolls to life a lot more for her. Colourful + easy to follow, but most importantly...it's not irritating for adults!

The writing in these books is weak, daughter age9 watches the show but didn't like the books ( she reads a lot!) won't be buying any more.
