Luminox new NavySEAL carbon compound 3500 series Watch with carbon compound Case Black|White Dial and PU Black Strap XS.3501

Upon seeing the picture, I wasn't quite sure on the style of this watch - I thought it looked too bulky and rubbery and not the kind of style you'd want to wear. How wrong was I? It is incredible! The watch comes packaged in a genuinely posh box with a rubber-embossed logo on the top, inside the watch sits on a red leather cushion complete with rubber keyring. The watch itself is amazing - it has a date and day function as well as a second hand and it's fully numbered. I think it also has a stopwatch as well but please don't ask me how that works... Anyways, it was easy to set the correct time, and upon wearing it's comfortable, the strap is made of rubber, and it has a double clasp which means it's probably not going to fall off! And it looks absolutely brilliant on, as well. It's not a dressy watch, but it is suitable for going out during the day! And the numbers light up at night so if you do go out at night and forget the time, you'll be alright. All in all, what a watch! Really impressed. Really, really impressed.

This watch is beautifully presented and looks good. The watch has a very masculine, military look to it, but proves lightweight despite its chunky, robust appearance. The black and white contrast ensures the numbers stand out starkly and the wide hands enable you to easily tell the time at a quick glance. The 24 hour clock and date are more difficult to read due to their smaller size but are still legible. In addition, you can keep accurate time whilst feel like a navy seal on night time manoeuvres with the inbuilt night visibility technology. The rubber watch strap has a spongy texture but feels comfortable and buckles securely with a large 2 pronged buckle. My other half has mentioned that he tends to find it gets a little sweaty during very warm days. Although it looks chunky the watch is smaller, lighter, and more comfortable than you would expect.I've had to give up on my previous 'fat' watch as it was just too uncomfortable to wear for prolonged periods. I can happily wear this watch for days in end, actually it's the 1st watch I've owned that I genuinely forget that I'm wearing.I really like this watch, the titrium light is fantastic, I'm not sure if it will last 25 years but the light is provides is much stronger than luminous paint.The dial is clear, and the river bezel actually works, unlike some that a purely decorative. If anything I would have liked a thinner bezel that would allow for a slightly larger dial or a smaller font on the dial.I'm also not quite sold in the 24h military time markings. Even if you use military time I don't see how the markings help, you'd already know the time in that format.As it is I think large bezel combined with the large font plus extra 24h markings makes the watch look a bit cluttered.My quibbles with the markings notwithstanding, it is still pretty easy to tell the time and date at a glance.All in all if you're a fan of military style watches and don't need chrono, then you should have this watch on your shortlist.

Die Luminox XS.3501 gefällt mir wegen ihres bulligen Designs. Eine männliche Uhr: Schwarz, gewaltig, sportlich, unkonventionell.Bereits beim öffnen der eleganten Verpackung spürt man: Qualität. Im oberen Fach des Deckels findet sich eine kleine, edle, sehr gut lesbareund verständliche Bediensungsanleitung sowie eine Garantiekarte. Die Uhr selbst ist noch besser als erwartet: Männlich, stark.Und dann dieser Kontrast. Die schwere Optik trifft auf Leichtigkeit. Kein Gramm zuviel, keine glatte Oberfläche wo nicht nötig. Dazu passtdas griffige Resinarmband mit Zweidornenschließe. Nicht zu starr, nicht zu weich -eben ganu richtig. Was sich erst anhört wie eine spielerischeNettigkeit entpuppt sich als Segen für ihren Träger: Selbst bei recht lockerem Armband verrutscht die Uhr kaum am Arm. Das Armband lässt keinunnötiges seitliches Spiel. Auch die ergonomische Gehäuseform und die raue Textur der Gehäuseunterseite tragen zu diesem Komfort bei. Dasüberstehende Armband fasst sicher in zwei passgenaue, rutschfeste Ösen. Herausrutschen ist wirklich nicht möglich. Und so kann man auch sicher Sport machen ohne das versehentliche Öffnen des Armbandes befürchten zu müssen.Zum Uhrwerk: Ein Quartzuhrwerk mit Datumsanzeige. Zuverlässig und genau.Die Batterie soll laut Bedienungsanleitung 3-6 Jahre halten. Das hört sich unkompliziert an. Die angenehm große Krone lässt sich sicher undhaptisch hochwertig bedienen. Ich hätte mir eine Möglichkeit zum Einschrauben auf Standardposition gewünscht um zu signalisieren: Wasserdichtheit ist ab jetzt gewährleistet. Auch wenn ich bei dieser hochwertigen Verarbeitung keinen Wassereintritt erwarte. Diehervorragend ablesbare Taucherlünette dreht sauber und rastet klar und verdrehsicher ein, die Bedienung macht Spaß. Auch im Dunkeln ist die Uhr sicher ablesbar -auch wenn heutige "gesunde" Farben nicht mehr so hell leuchten. Stunden- und Minutenzeiger und die 12 Uhr Positionfluoriszieren orangefarben, die übrigen Stundenpositionen mitsamt Sekundenzeiger weißlich - nett. Das Zifferblatt hätte für meinenGeschmack etwas größer sein dürfen, auch wenn die Ablesbarkeit sehr gut ist.Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut. Das superleichte Tragegefühl in Kombination mit bulliger Optik sind einfach nur Klasse.
