The Pelican Brief [Blu-ray] [1994] [1998] [Region Free]

I bought this for my mum since she loves densel Washington and we absolutely loved watching it and for a good price its good fun

Iwas so mad with myself for not allowing enough time to record this great film on my HDD recorder.I purchased the DVD......got to the same point in film and it cut off.It was very late and I was as mad as hell.I was going to return DVD etc etc.I later read the very small print on disc. u have to turn it over like a vinyl record record.DOOOOH !There must be others out there who might not realise.Normally you get 2 Discs for a long runner.

Another great John Grisham film. Denzel Washington always makes a good movie and so are most of Ms Roberts. This was rather complicated to understand especially as I have no clue about the American legal process. Think I need to watch it several times before it makes better sense but still well worth a watch.Also really liked The Bone Collector with Denzel Washington which was what pushed me to buy this movie. It's a bit creepy but great twist at the end

Great but when it stops in the middle you need to turn it over not buy another! Didn't see instructions and never had to do that before!

the pelican brief is an awesome film its really interesting and julia roberts is amazing in this film but the two sided disk is not very clear so when you see how much is left on the side you start thinking about it which stopped me concentrating on the film i would like to have know even more details if i could.

This is a really good film which I bought as I had not seen it for many years - so looking forward to sitting down, feet up and what a disappointment, the quality of the DVD was appalling, it was a very bad copy - initially when the Warner Bros logo appeared on the screen it was clear and crisp, but then it disappeared and was replaced with a second Warner Bros logo which was not a good sign, as this one was dark, faded and slightly grainy.The first few scenes were unwatchable as the screen was just too dark - muddled through, then would you believe half way through I had to turn the disc - which by the way is completely plain.It is no more than a copy of a video, so would suggest that you don't waste your money on this and look for a remastered version - quite honestly it is going to be hitting the bin - it's my own fault I should have read the reviews.Amazon do yourself a favour and stop selling DVDs of this quality, after having bought quite a few from you I am now slightly hesitant in purchasing any more.
