great with minor flaws
i love corsair lighting , the software is a dream and easy too set up and use yes rgb is just aesthetics .. but boy are they aesthetically stunning setting them up you get a node pro ( with the node version not the extension version ) this connects over usb and can be used internally and externally if needed but you would need sata power if you done that the light strips are great magnetic and sticky so versatile , where i dont like these is you get a few patching cables but no where near enough too get the lights into anything bigger than a mid case with wire management and hiding cables .. i had too source another extension for my build and still could not get all 4 in the front and rear of the case without wires showing .. this could be fixed with 1 extra extension and for them too be a tad longer then it would be perfect .. overall tho they are great and worth buying for sure ..

Great LED strips
These really are some great LEDs, they are both magnetic and have a sticky adhesive, but the magnets alone hold the led strips in place perfectly, meaning you dont actually have to permanently stick these RGB strips onto your case. The included LED controller is great, though be mindful if you buy a corsair 680x case with these strips you'll be left with a spare controller. They are super bright and have an abundant amount of settings in corsair ICUE software.

Great lights for my pc
Very simple install I daisy chained them the wrong way around first time and had to install them again, the lights look great and I’m very happy with this purchase . I have now given into the Corsair rgb, luckily I already had the needed rgb controller to use these with Corsair icue and I have had no problems so far

Great case lights, via great (albeit proprietary) software
First thing to note is that these products exist because these are proprietary corsair-made 5V Addressable Strips. Though Corsair's icue software allows control of lighting on Aura Sync motherboards by Asus, it can only control 12v non-addressable strips. If you want addressable strips controllable through icue, you must use these. They have their own proprietary connectors to go with corsair's Lighting Node Pro gadget (which requires a free USB header and a SATA power input). If you're fine with proprietary hardware, these are very good LEDs. The LED Lighting Pro Expansion kit assumes that you already have a Corsair Lighting Node in your case, either from buying the Lighting Node Pro itself, or from buying a 3-pack of corsair's RGB fans. If you are interested in upgrading to RGB fans anyway, I recommend getting the fan pack and the expansion kit, because unlike (as far as I can tell) the Lighting Node Pro pack, the expansion kit comes with 4 extension cables which will likely be outright necessary to get the lights to the front of your case if your node is mounted behind your motherboard. The strips themselves are pretty good quality; low profile, adhesive and magnetic reverse side, and strong lights for the inside of the case. I also have more strips running outside of my case through a hole in a PCIE shield and in a diffuser profile to light up my walls. It's great to run on the icue software which, once you learn to use it, is very flexible and responsive. Overall, very nice if you already use some corsair peripherals and want to add lighting, but if you have a mix of gear you might want to look into other 5v addressable strips. These suit me, because I like and use iCue to begin with.

Love the RGB
The CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO RGB each lighting strip length is 30" you can add the Lighting PRO Expansion Kit if you wish to exdend it your node pro also will work with the Corsair RGB HD fans you need to download the software from the Corsair webpage the "Corsair link" to control all of it, if you link the HD fans and Node pro together. You don't need to buy the Command pro for this to work as above if you use the Corsair link you can control all different colours also change the each lighting strips to be a different colour and the same for the RGB fans plus you can also turn down the brightness and it has 11 effects to choose from the corsair software The Corsair Lighting node is a much better product and a brand name and worth the price. In my new computer 2017 build I have 4 RGB fans and the lighting node pro it looks very nice IMO my favorited is the rainbow wave but you can change it, I will add the image to this review so you can see for yourself what it looks like.

It's all about the RGB!
Great add-on for my new pc, Yeah its a bit pricey for LEDs.... but all the correct connections all in one box. and took less than 5 minutes to hook up. The led strips themselves are magnetic, but also come with a peel-away 3m sticky strip. the Magnet is strong enough without that, but if you want extra security, its there. It does come with 4 strips and 4 extension cables.. the cables could be a bit longer other wise you end up joining them if you have an obscure cable route, some extra cable ties wouldn't go a miss either. 4 LED strips is actually a bit overkill for my Corsair 4000x case, top and bottom strips is enough. These do NOT connect to the RGB hub as I expected but they connect directly to the commander hub. I was considering adding another RGB hub, but that is apparently just for the FAN RGB(so good job I didn't) and luckily it has left 3 slots free on this for me to be able to connect the AIO RGB and the extra fan I have coming.

So, make sure the strips are the right way around
I used the extensntions at first with the two wires, and placed them into the back of the strips, and this was a bad idea because it seemed I was sending power in from reverse, and they didn't work at all. I fixed the problem by using the other extansin cables and basically reversing the polarity. It works fine. I should have read the instructions first I guess? I still haven't read them but I'd imagine it probably tells you about this. Haha. Yeah, they're decent, expensive, but decent.

Corsair LEDs are great. they are working well and they look cool. My most favorite hast to be the ability to control the LEDs through an app on my desktop. I would definitely recommend buy this LEDs strips if you a gamer how is looking to create cool effects though you will need to download an app called iCUE. over all thumbs up.
