BiMi50141 Glide Casters for Office Chair 50mm Black (Pack of 5)

Arrived on time, well packed, reasonably priced from a small business. Fitted perfectly. Neede these to fit an office chair which was leaving wheel marks in a new carpet and didn't want a plastic floor cover.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit wary about whether the castors would fit my chair.No problem. I used the castors to replace rollers on a office chair that sounded like thunder when it was moved (because of the flooring) also the original rollers were collecting a lot of dog fur and a couple kept jamming every now and then.The castors are excellent and big, the photos don't do them justice. They were easy to fit and work perfect as long as the legs on your chair are horizontal or bent away from the seat, even if the piston protrudes slightly at the bottom.

These things go on the bottom of furniture that have castors, replacing them. In my case an office chair that I didnt want moving all over the place on my wooden floor. They snap in place easily and are made of high impact plastic. It takes a bit of force to fit them but once on they are solid. The bottom of the glide castor is just plastic so to reduce noise and reduce the risk of scratching you can fit self adhesive felt pads which I did. Overall they do the job perfectly.

Arrived quickly and good quality for the money paid. However I hoped to use them to replace castors on a 3 piece suite that have the same type of click in place pin to secure it. When I got these I found the pin that goes into the hole on my furniture was to thick. I had presumed this would be a universal size but not the case. I did some searching and found a similar item with a thinner pin so will send these back. But they seem strong and well made for office chairs, pity they were wrong size for my 3 piece suite.

We have come to assume that office chairs should be on wheels. However, on some surfaces wheels are a problem. Some people don't like the way an office chair can go awol and glide away on smooth surfaces but I don't like wheels on carpeted floors because of the damage the wheels cause to the carpets. These gliders have a large base that doesn't cut into the carpet and leaves no marks at all. Once you get used to the reduced mobility when you've swapped castors for gliders, you don't even notice it. This is a quality product and I would have given it five stars had they made the glider's contact pad super smooth, with say Teflon or polished nylon, so that it can move easier.

It does exactly what we wanted it to do - make an office chair safer for elderly clients, who often find that chairs with castor wheels run away from them when they try to sit down. These solid castors make the chair nice and stable are interchangeable with standard office chair castors.

I bought these to fit to my new deskchair as I do some sim racing. On chairs with wheels, when I hit the brake pedal, I push myself backwards. These glide castors do not move undesirably on my floor while I am seated (wooden floor) which makes me happy and keeps me in one place as I race.

I bought these to try and stop my office chair from sliding around when playing flight sims with my feet on rudder pedals. They do the job exactly as hoped. Great solution rather than buying an expensive gaming chair with lockable wheels.

Fit on the chair, but weren't tall enough to be used, wouldn't clear center bar. Measure before you buy!

Llevaba años buscando estos tapones y encajan a la perfección con la medida que indican. Muy recomendable para concentrarse mejor y no tener las piernas en constante tensión para que la silla no se desplace. Llevan más de un año puestos y ningún problema.

Moi qui cherchais une alternative aux roulettes de ma chaise afin d'expérimenter le sim racing dans les meilleures conditions, ces patins glisseurs me donne un appui parfait afin d'être dans des conditions optimales.

Habe die Gleiter / Stopper für eine PVC-Unterlage besorgt. Die Unterlage war mit Rollen nicht zu nutzen, viel zu rutschig. Mit den Gleitern klappt es prima. Man muss den Drehstuhl zwar nun über die Unterlage ziehen, daran gewöhnt man sich aber schnell und der Zugewinn bei der Nutzung rechtfertigt den Aufwand. Würde ich definitv wieder kaufen.

Super kein wegrutschen des Bürostuhls mehr.
