Does what it says on the tin. We never buy any other brand.
The cats don't particularly like this, but that is not important. The fleas do not either. It works. Used it for over 14 years. Blinking good results.

Don’t really do anything for my cat!

Frontline "Spot On" flea & tick cat ointment.
Easy to use and the cat does not seem to mind it. He appears to be normally free of ticks and other mites so assume it is working as intended

Price quality irritation free
The tablets had no smell to them and my pet took them with ease, there was no side effects or irritation which was great. Well worth the price

Ok but only kills adult fleas, not the eggs.
This is ok to kill adult fleas but it won't kill the eggs or larval stage. For an effective flea treatment you need Frontline Plus which has methoprene in it. This is the chemical that kills the eggs and larvae and will break the life cycle of the fleas. Or get a vet strength flea treatment from you vet. This may be ok if your pet only has a few fleas, though that's quite difficult to tell.

Honestly, pretty useless. Try Advantage from Pets at Home instead.
So my indoor cat has used Frontline since I’ve had her, and I assumed it was doing the job, until the dreading itching started happening. She was due her Frontline (may 7th) so I gave it to her. For the next month she continued itching and I was beginning to notice flea dirt around the house. Never had a cat with fleas before so I was advised to use a flea comb for her. Gave her the next lot of treatment (a month after the previous) and she was still itching, and I was pulling off between 5-20 LIVE fleas a day from her everyday for a WEEK! During this time I flea bombed the house and even tried a flea collar. Nothing was working. Spoke with Pets at Home who offer a monthly subscription service, and I ordered their Advantage Flea Treatment which I was told I could use a week after Frontline so not to combine medication. Within a day or 2, she had stopped itching. Any fleas I now pull off her (0-1 a day) are already dead. So for £4 a month, Advantage is cheaper and works way better, and kills the eggs and larvae. Won’t be bothering with Frontline again, I only went for it as it’s the “known” brand.
