BADGER Airbrush Paint Mixer BA121

Brilliant piece of kit, it does what it says on the tin so to speak, and it's made by Badger, yes there's a few out there to choose from but I'm pleased I bought this one.

Perfect tool for mixing medium into larger amounts of heavy body acrylic paint to thin it down Doesn’t create too many bubbles. I say it being used in video by fluid artist.

Ideal - a very good investment especially if you are mixing enamel metallic paints. Be careful with glass bottles especially those that come with a ball-bearing inside as they can break.

I've had this a couple of months and wonder why I didn't buy one sooner really. Much easier and more thorough than a manual stirrer, especially if thinning paint for air brushing or reviving those old paints that have sat for a long time and settled.Mine although ordered from Amazon UK came via the US so I had to wait a short while but it was significantly cheaper than the other UK sellers.

It does effectively mix paint, I had about 50 tins to stir which I'd purchased as a job lot. During the process the stirrer became loose on the motor spindle rendering it unable to mix the contents. I remedied this by removing the stirrer from the motor spindle and closing the gap with application of a couple of taps with a hammer. Has worked well since but I'm concerned about the long term reliability and durability. The instructions that came with it are printed in mirror image writing/diagrams which shows a disconcerting lack of attention to quality.

Does a good job.

I've been looking for one of these for ages - something that will mix/ stir up without causing bubbles as a whisk would. You can buy frappuchino machines that do the same thing and they cost quite a bit more. This is compact, battery operated and brilliant for mixing. I use it when stirring micas in water or oil in plastic cups and also for cosmetic making. Very good gizmo.

I've had my original Badger paint mixer for over 35yeas . it was time for a replacement. Thankfully Badger remained fathful to the original design , no frills , does what it is designed to do. Perfect.

Works great, bought to replace my old one.
