Warheads Extreme Sour Hard Candy Assorted Flavors

My therapist recommended sour sweets to help to ‘ground’ me when I experience anxiety/panic attacks. It actually helps! These are very very sour but that doesn’t last long, which would have been better as the sourness is the main purpose. But afterwards they go really sweet & the flavours are lovely, which is like a reward for enduring the sourness. I specifically wanted individually wrapped sweets as I can carry a few with me at a time - in my gym bag etc, but it’s not the best for the environment. Chose this brand as they’re vegan, unlike ‘toxic waste’. You can only eat 2 or 3 max at a time as too many makes your mouth feel funny (like when you eat too many salt & vinegar crisps) so this means a pack lasts a while. Another bonus of these is you can share them with friends & watch them pull faces when the sourness kicks in. I am a grown adult & find this amusing so I imagine kids will too! Quite good for a little prank ;-)

don’t eat too many, it will damage your mouth but i unironically love these sweets

This is the most sour candy I have ever tasted although quite expensive considering you only get SEVEN!!!! But overall I would say i love them so much although will be going slow on them but 5 stars you should definitely try them.

For the money you spend on these, its not exactly worth it since you only get a tiny little bag of them and only get two of each flavour. Would still recommend if someone likes sour sweets.

They look like warheads, taste like warheads and come in the same packaging as warheads. They are warheads. Perfect for the buyer who can't be bothered to track them down in British stores, and they are probably better value online as well. My son loves sour sweets and US ones are the best - so hurrah that I can get these!

For those who enjoy extremely sour sweets, these won't begin touch the figurative sides. The sweets themselves are small individually wrapped hard pastille shaped sweets with a very thin mildly tart coating. Once the very thin mildly tart coating dissipates during the course of initial mastication - a very strange almost caramel-esque flavoured sweet emerges that wouldn't be appetising or appealing as a stand alone sweet, let alone as a constituent of these types of sweets. By American standards these sweets are perhaps considered "extremely sour". By UK standards they are very disappointingly mildly tart. Not for those who enjoy extremely sour sweets. If only Barbettes sold their extremely sour sweets in prepacked factory sealed pouches sweets like these wouldn't be able to credibly market themselves as sour contrasted with genuinely gold standard sour sweets!

Pretty expensive for what you get. Still fun to see your buddy’s face swell from the sourness.

Really sour and I wanna get them again

I use this in anxiety treatment for my clients and it really helps with grounding! Tastes good and is a good skill too!
