This is an excellent piece of kit.Very powerful:- I used this alongside another antenna that claimed to be providing 12dbi of strength. With the Patriot antenna I obtained 57 yes 57 available signals. With its competitor I achieved only about 40 signals.The Patriot is also far more stable and did not signal drop out, although I find with these antenna's chip sets that over time they seem to loose their stability. I simply power down for 10 seconds and they will reset themselves back to full strength.The other benefit of the Patriot antenna is that they have a LED attached to the chipset circuit board that flashes from red to green as a signal is being received/transmitted. This LED is visible through a tiny window in the side of the housing and although difficult to see in daylight is easily visible at night and allows you to see that power and signals are being processed.The overall construction is excellent and is very water proof, unlike many other antenna's I have used and failed due to moisture ingress. They even provide some self amalgamating tape to wrap around the upper joint if you want bells and whistles.I have no reservations in recommending this antenna to any future potential buyers as I have found it to be the best of all the ones I have purchased, and even exceeds some directional antenna's I have purchased.

Highly recommended, but probably best to buy it with the Solwise router. I had it all up and running within 30mins. The caravan site WiFi is weak, this has made it all very accessible. Wife, son and I are all using WiFi simultaneously now. I think the router must ‘ping’ the site WiFi periodically as the connection is always ‘live’ and doesn’t expire. While my ipad was seeing 2 or 3 other WiFi sources this is seeing about 20 (although all password secured). Tip for the antennae if in caravan, strap it upside down to main pole of awning - you won’t need to worry about weatherproofing, signal gain is uncompromised, and you can wrap the cables around the roof poles and feed into your router, keeping everything neat and tidy.

Purchased this for my caravan, and have to say it's brilliant, had a poor signal before and had lots of frustrated movie nights with the internet losing signal, but not anymore.Easy to install, bought all the additional extras to make it a pucker job.

Now have wifi in my garden to pick up my CCTV cams. Fab bit of kit and no loss of signal. Have now recommended to a friend who wants wifi in his shed..

This was bought on someone else,s behalf,so can only go on what i was told which was ,this was very easy to put up and operate

Very easy to set-up , picking up lots of signals inside so should pick up more and even stronger ones outside, fast delivery thanks .

Currently this product has failed to impress me. CD is clearly not fit for purpose seems to mention windows systems 97 & 2000, no clear set up instructions. I feel I wasted my money, doesn't seem to do what it stated.

Good price for a good product which will come in very handy when touring with our caravan in France and Spain
