Tiny, but great!
Yes, this drone is probably going to be much smaller than you expect it to be. Other comments mention that, so it's going to be no surprise.Although that was initially a bit of a disappointment, it was soon overcome. The quality of the drone is as you'd expect for the price. I have no problems with it. A spare set of blades is a nice addition, but we've had no need for them so far. This was bought for my 6 year old son who wanted a drone that would flip. Not only does this flip, but it seems like the ideal drone to learn with. It's diminutive size means it's much safer and less prone to damage when crashed and suits being flown inside, where it's less likely to come into contact with walls and furniture. It's easy to set up and the blade guards are great too.The controller is somewhat complicated for children. There are mulitple buttons on there and none of them are labelled. I've memorised the buttons and my son has memorised the controls and flipping button. That's all he wants for now! It's extremely stable once it has been trimmed using the buttons on the remote. That's the bit that my son hasn't learned yet.The drone itself is very small. I don't have it with me to measure, but I'd approximate 60mm x 30mm when folded. That increases to somewhere around 80mm square when unfolded and the blade guards add a little extra width. There are three speeds, switchable by the left hand button on the front of the remote control. We've not found any need for going beyond the slowest speed yet, as we are still learning! The flip button is on the front right hand side. After pressing this button, the drone will flip when you nudge the right hand controller. Both thumb stick controls are analogue, so you can fly slowly while learning and adjusting the position of the drone.Even with it's small size, this drone has hit the wall/curtains/me a few times. There is no damage so far as claimed in other comments here, so it does seem pretty robust.Battery life is ok. It's pretty much what you'd imagine for a drone of this size. I'd say it lasts for 5-10 minutes depending on manoeuvres, so you just have to be disciplined in charging it after use or planning to charge before use.The only minor gripe I have is that the diagram in the instructions mentions a camera. I did not buy this for a camera and I wasn't surprised that it does not have a camera. I'd warned my son that it was a flipping drone rather than a camera drone, but his excitement did briefly peak when he saw the word "camera" in the instructions, with an equivalent brief dip in enthusiasm when I explained that the instructions are probably shared with another drone that does have a camera. The LEDs on this drone are great though - very bright and clearly light up the room!I've also not had much luck with the auto return feature, it might be something that we figure out when we have more space. However, you're not going to be flying this one far due to its size and battery capacity, so its no deal breaker!

Excellent Indoor Drone
I normally fly a full sized drone with camera outside, but as this is dependent on a number of factors such as good weather and trying to find an isolated spot away from people, buildings, cars, power lines and airports, I wanted an indoor drone that I could use every day regardless of weather etc. This drone fits the bill perfectly. It is small enough to allow plenty of manoeuvrability inside the house and is extremely stable for such a small drone. With the use of the trim controls it can be set to hover with very little drift. It will never be as stable as a larger drone with GPS, but GPS is expensive and doesn't work indoors anyway. The altitude hold works surprisingly well, although some minor adjustment is required when flying it around enthusiastically.Build quality is good and it looks more expensive than it is. That said, I would definitely advise fitting the supplied blade guards as the drone will come into contact with walls/ornaments/pets if flown adventurously. The supplied guards are very effective, with the drone just bouncing off anything it comes into contact with. Its also light enough not to cause any damage to anything it hits.Battery life is enough for an enjoyable flight (up to 10 mins as claimed) and recharge times are short (approx. 30-45 mins). Its worth letting the drone cool down for about 10 mins after use before recharging to extend the life of the battery and motors.Although this drone can in theory be flown outside, it is very light and could be blown away in anything more than a very slight breeze. I would personally recommend sticking to using it indoors. It has no camera, but to be honest a camera is useless on an indoor drone. The picture quality of cameras in budget drones is very poor, and if you want to take a picture at eye level indoors, a smartphone is a much better bet.Although this looks to be a toy, and is reasonably robust, I would stick to the 14+ age suggestion on the box. Some parts of the drone such as the charging cable look as if they could be easily broken in younger hands.Overall, this drone packs an amazing amount of technology into a small and easy to fly package. It costs less than a spare battery for my full sized drone! Wholeheartedly recommended.

great fun for short periods
I bought this for my 13 year old nephew for Christmas. After reading the reviews it sounded like great value for money, also i got it on a lightning deal so it was a little bit cheaper.Once we opened the surprisingly small box we found an even more surprisingly small drone! The controller is a good size but doesn't come with the 3 AAA batteries needed. You need to read the instructions because the first thing you have to do is calibrate it. The instructions will also tell you what all the buttons on the controller do. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the battery life: Charge time 30 mins Fly time 10.

Stopped Working - Twice!
I had to buy this drone twice as the first time (for my son's birthday) the product only lasted 2 weeks before one of the rotators stopped turning. Thankfully it was within 30 days of purchase and so the return was easy. I then bought a second one about two months ago to replace the first and this one has also stopped working despite it being kept in pristine condition and never having had a knock or fall. It is real shame as while it worked it was excellent and my son had a lot of fun with it. I hope the seller will contact me and offer a refund - third time lucky? Let's see.

Excellent product
Such a fun little drone to fly, even my 7 year old can fly it. The major downside is that it isnt an interchangeable battery. Thats the only draw back, but it is a major one for me.Its is otherwise a great fun little drone and I would recommend it for beginners.
