So I've been frustrated by the lack of widely available wireless auto (like everyone else in the world) and I got frustrated with the core situation in the car. Especially because I insisted on having wireless charging but never got to use it because I always had to plug my phone inEnter this little contraption, the written instructions aren't the best. I put together the clues based on the Amazon listing. But once I got setup, no issues at all. It takes about 30 seconds to connect (which is usually just me pulling out the driveway) and I've never had an issue with reconnection issues in the last 3 months or so. I keep this in mind as a gift for anyone who doesn't have wireless AA, I love how seamlessly it works and it's really upper my enjoyment of driving/being in my car in general.Disclaimer, the range on the dongle is pretty far. So sometimes my phone connects to it even if I'm outside of my car. Very much still worth it to me.

So it worked on my s22 ultra but when I get on my car it Connects to it but once it does not show connected to the car I have to unplug it several times so it can finally connect to the car its so annoying seeing your cell connected to the box but not showing the box on the android auto.

This unit delivers where it promises. Added wireless Android Auto to my 2017 SUV and I couldn't be happier. One of the things I wanted to avoid was having to plug and unplug my phone into the car. Over time this can wear out the outlet and be a major inconvenience if my GPS mapping wasn't working. Luckily this solves that problem and more! I love that I can just sit down and concentrate on driving immediately and not fumble around to plug the phone in anymore. This has added a great convenience to my drives now.

The only way to get this thing to connect is by connecting to its wifi signal. And then it will connect the bluetooth. But the problem with that is you can't use data while connected. And you also need to keep your wifi and bluetooth on before you enter your car, or else it starts trying to connect and if your wifi and bluetooth is not on (and also not connected to anything else) it will not connect. And will be a huge pain to get it to. And i do not like keeping my wifi and bluetooth on all day untill i get in my car. So that way i don't waste my battery. So for me, it is very unreliable. Unless you want to keep your wifi and bluetooth on wasting your phone battery, i do not suggest getting this.

It came with the worst directions! But after repeated attempts of guessing what to do we were able to get it to work. Once it works it is surprisingly very fast and smooth. I didn't need to contact technical support yet, so I cannot comment on that aspect, but I hear that is the way to go if you run into problems connecting. Overall, I am happy with the final outcome and for $60 I was able to add wireless Android Auto to my aftermarket Pioneer Avh-4200nex unit = PRICELESS. 😁

I followed the instructions for this and it doesn't work. Tried it in 2 different vehicles and with 2 different phones (all of which are listed as 'supoorted')

When it works it does what it is supposed to. But only works about 40% of the time. The other 60% had to turn on and off the Bluetooth on my phone. Sometimes to get it to work had to unplug it and plug it back in. I have a 2021 Ram 1500 truck.
