As far as I'm aware, sodium laureth sulphate is less irritating than sodium lauryl sulphate, though both are irritants. Neither are against EU rules I think.. Maybe just not recommended?

Q: Is this vegan and cruelty free

I buy it because to the best of my knowledge the soap is both vegan and cruelty free. I have been using Nesti Dante for about a year and a half. I googled it before I bought it and results came back saying it was both vegan and not tested on animals. The soap is great good lather and scent.

Q: Do these have a subtle smell?

Beautiful soap with lovely fragrances. They are quite strong smells - ideal for the bathroom.
