I bought this bell to replace the tinny one that came with the bike. What an improvement. The old one was a mere tinkle - just about OK on a quiet bike path, but barely audible on a busy city street. This one is more like a gong. In fact, at times it is too loud. If you sound it when you are close behind an unwary pedestrian, you can sometimes see then visibly jump. So to avoid any risk of heart attacks, I re-installed the old bell alongside the new. So now I have a choice of loudness, depending on the circumstances. Just right.

I opted for this after having to return a different (cheap) bike bell. I'm really glad I did. It's a lovely object, it sounds great, is well made, and seems indestructible. It's worth spending more to get this, that I reckon will last for years.

Looks really smart on my chrome handlebars! Very easy to fix onto the bike. Very loud chime. Reasonable price and delivered quick. Would highly recommend. :)

Great bike bell but it takes up a fair bit of space on the handlebars. Pedestrians wearing headphones even move out of my way when I ring this bell!Possibly, I should give it 5 stars but ideally it would have to be smaller.

I bought this to replace a useless bell on my girlfriend's bike because I have the gold coloured stainless steel one and it's a great sounding bell where the ring sustains for a long time and only people with headphones can't hear it. I have to say though that this "aluminium" one, whilst quite loud, doesn't quite match my gold coloured stainless steel one for volume.

I have had 'ping' bells supplied with bikes, and I have spectacular Ding-Dong bell on my touring bike, but this one definitely seems to attract people's attention more. maybe it's the tone, or maybe it's the volume, or maybe both, but it works really well.

Crane bells are simply the best bells, and this one is no exception. The quality of manufacture is second-to-none and the ringing tone is bright and clear. Various mounting options are available from Crane but this is the traditional two-piece style which fits on most handlebars (or old-style quill stems if you want that classic touring bike look). Just like the rest of the bell, the mount is excellent, and the bell stays secure and stable when it's done up.Worth noting that Crane bells are the more traditional flick lever style bell with a single loud ring, rather than the push lever "ding-dong" bells that the style might suggest - worth noting if you're buying it as a gift.

After getting a defective bell from another company, I researched bike bells and the Crane seemed to have the best reputation. The bell arrived earlier than predicted and is every bit as good as advertised. Easy to use lever and loud, clear bell "ding". It's probably better than my old bike deserves.

Fixée sur mon gravel, utilisée quotidiennement en vélo taf, elle est parfaite : elle sonne bien, se fixe solidement, elle est d'excellente facture et... jolie !Rien à voir avec les petits machins que les marchands fixent sur les vélos, juste parce que c'est obligatoire !

Ho trovato questo campanello molto bello, robusto e comodo. Sono riuscito a montarlo vicino al freno del manubrio della bici da corsa in modo che sia facilmente raggiungibile e "attivabile" con il pollice.L'intensità del suono è sufficiente a farsi sentire soprattutto se suonato con insistenza.Assolutamente consigliato

Die Klingel ist sehr, sehr laut und legal sowie klappert sie bei der Fahrt nicht. Sie ist gut verarbeitet. Das Prinzip ist schlicht und funktionell. Ich hoffe nur, dass sie nicht rosten wird. Die Klingel lohnt sich.Nach ca 4 Monaten: Absolut noch kein Rost. Rad hatte etwa 5 Regenfahrten und stand ca 5-10 mal im Regen.Immernoch kein bisschen Rost aber mein Fahrrad rostet schon. Klingel sieht aus wie neu. Top Produkt.Nach ca 7 Monaten: Kein Rost. Die Klingel ist wirklich laut aber meine Schwester hat eine 3€-Klingel. Ihre ist genau so laut, hält aber nicht lange. Das hat mich richtig verblüfft. Der Look und Verarbeitung, Langlebigkeit der Crane ist und bleibt ungeschlagen.Nach ca einem Jahr und ca 20 Regenfahrten und nach ca 15 mal im Regen stehen gelassen ist, hat sich noch kein Rost gebildet. Die Klingel funktioniert wunderbar und sieht aus wie neu. Ich klingel immens oft, da ich bei der Critical Mass oft mitfahre und da klingelt man ständig. Habe dabei schon 2 Klingeln zerschossen. Diese hält tapfer. Achja bei der Aufhängung sind quasi 2 Haken. Also ist der Spielraum bei der Breite des Lenkerrohrs sehr groß. Ich wurde schon 2 mal gefragt, was das für eine tolle Klingel ist. Fußgänger beschweren und erschrecken sich oft. So laut ist das Ding. Absolut klasse.Ist zwar ziemlich teuer das Teil, aber ist wirklich Qualität.

Sieht gut und wertig verarbeitet aus. Guter und lauter Klang.
